POV: It's sunday evening, you're tired and if you think that tomorrow you have to reach the university by train, you feel even more tired. In your recomandation playlist this video pops out, you click on it and you listen to the song that you already know. How many time is passed since you discovered it: you were a young fella at the last days of middle school, the year program was over so teacher let the students choose some songs to spend the time during the last lessons. Someone choose blue (da ba dee) and you fall in love with the song: During your summer before the high school, is one of your many freedom anthem yet somehow you know that you'll miss the middle school. Meanwhile, you open a CZcams channel and you make a video with Spongebob singing the song that gets something like 100k views on youtube and your channel grows. Then, things start getting confused: You start high school but you manage to balance free time and CZcams so you do a lot of videos and you also open a new channel, and a new one, and a new one, and you left the old, the video with Spongebob singing I'm blue gets almost 100k during the time but it becames old and you became old with the video while around you, things changes maybe too much: some people that you knew pass away, your older stepbrother start the university, then tries to join the army but fails and leave university; after some training, he'll be doing payroll at his father's company. Then Covid breaks out and you stay closed in home for months and the world around you changes again and even faster than before. Eventually you start to see the light at the end of the tunnel, then the russian ukraine conflict breaks out. Nothing seems real anymore. When did the world changed so much? What was like living before this? You slowly start remember anything but in the meantime, the song is over, so you play it again and everything is more clear: That old Spongebob MV with I'm blue that made you famous, the summer after the middle school and the high school that you almost didn't feel. You spent two and half year normal before the covid, then...all this.
You don't even know how to feel, maybe you're sad...but maybe you don't even care. After all, despite everything, it's still you: that happy guy that was dancing I'm blue cuz the school was over. And you want to dance, after five or six years of everything...but you don't have the strenght anymore. The video ends and the next plays.
This is my story: I'm the guy from the Spongebob I'm blue MV that got pretty famous some years ago. I can't believe how fast things moved around me, yet it still seems yesterday that I was editing that video with the trial version of my video editor, for no reasons at all, just to share my fun with other people.
When I watch it nowdays, I still have a smile, but I'm so sad, because the kid that made that video was one of the person that died in the meantime and this adult is the only thing left of him, and he doesn't know if he's still him...but probably yes
Sorry if I bother you with my story, I just felt the need of take a pause and think about my life then and now. You can go back to have your life now!
