Agreed, to be honest, louie was my SOTY pick - but i'm Australian & i think it's just one of those things where you have to see the guy skate in person. Louie is a potential future SOTY and has legendary trick selection/capability on board, but the way Foy handles the very gnarliest of spots and this variety of tricks on them... he's the closest to the Thrasher ethos for sure. Earnt that shit!

what i've noticed from all those guys who practice rails and don't injure themselves badly is that they know how to fall when they miss and furthermore they manage to stay loose and relax during their fall to preserve their body. That's really impressive

Australian skaters skate at an extremely high level for two reasons, the quality of the spots around them and lack of security. Look at Marnell, Shane O’Neil, and Chima Ferguson. The list goes on. All those guys skate bolts and extremely clean. This is wonderland for Foy.
