  • Rico Mandel interviews Marco Amendola, owner of Agriturismo I Filadelfi 1828, in the beautiful Cilento area of the Campania region in Italy. Learn about their goats, cheese-making, wine crafting, and more.
Marco was a computer programmer until his family devised the idea for a better business they could all get involved with. Starting from 5 goats, their herd has grown to over 200 heads. They make cheese from their milk, which they sell to local restaurants. It has a buttery texture and marvelous flavor.
They also have a small vineyard where they grow and make their own wines, and a garden where they grow all of their own herbs and vegetables. The surroundings are tranquil - a great place to relax, unwind, disconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures life in Italy offers.
