Thank you guys. Straight up. I had to stop halfway and write a comment. I recently decided to give my life to christ. 1 week later, im back smoking weed. Fornicating. Back to my old ways. The only difference is now that when I do these things, I'm constantly thinking about God, but still fall to the temptations of the devil. I'm weak. Pray for me please fam 🙏
Praying for you. Just remember that we serve a very forgiving God and he knows every single sin you will ever commit yet he still loves you and wants you to be in paradise with him one day. Much love to you❤️❤️
Try your best, God forgives and will forever do so. The hard part is forgiving ourselves, and NOT repeating the same decisions. Everyone falls, but what makes a Man is how strong he can get back up.

While Gods grace is present understand that you have to be intentional in your relationship with God. You know what will lead to these sins so actively removing yourself from these situations or even if you have to cut ties with people then that is what you must do. While salvation can not be attained by works , our works are evidence that we indeed did truly repent because we show our faith by our works and our works are supposed to be a natural response to Jesus’ sacrifice because we love him.
We will always sin. It's the result of a broken world.
The key is to remember to lean on gods grace, repent, and follow his ways. If we feel focus on the sin and not God the father of lies can take over and its easy to believe the lie.
The truth is God has created us with the freedom of choice and the amazing ability to capture and change our own thoughts. When you know scripture you can use the truths to know who you actually are and use his strength to eradicate your weaknesses. I struggled with pot for 15 years. I accepted god into my life a year ago and through his strength i was able to quit. Its so Important to find a good church with good biblical teachers. Spend time in his word and repent daily. A great book is switch on your mind. Written by a Christian neuroscienctist.
I have a feeling this episode is going to completely change my life and relationship with Jesus. I feel like so much weight has been removed from my chest. Especially with the belief part of the episode.Thank you!!

The SPIRIT does NOT speak through ANYONE who has NOT BEEN BAPTIZED.
These individuals HERE say that ALL you have to do is believe BUT Jesus said EVEN the devil believe but tremble.. Why? Because believing is NOT enough. Jesus knows the devils WILL not put faith in HIM which would make them turn away from evil SO he says BELIEVING IS NOT ENOUGH because the devils even believe.
Faith without works is DEAD.
But we are saved by Faith and not WORKS..
How can you reconcile this..

Faith is a belief couple with an act.
Abraham had FAITH but what made his faith righteous? He DID something!
Noah had FAITH but what made his faith righteous? He DID something!
Paul on the road to Damascus had FAITH but it was blind faith because he didn’t know the WHOLE TRUTH… but how was Paul justified? By his FAITH but what did he do? Did Paul do anything? Of course he did.
Jesus told Paul to do what? Go to Ananias and when he went to Ananias, HE WAS BAPTIZED!
How do you receive the Holy Spirit?
Acts 2:38
They BELIEVED, by asking what MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?
Peter DID NOT say believe IN YOUR HEART!
He said REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED! Everyone who believes, IS TO BE baptized.
Romans 6 1-6 is HOW you put on Christ, and without BAPTISM, you do not have CHRIST.

God has guided me to this podcast and I'm so thankful! I needed to hear this because there was this church a few years ago that tried to convince me that I was never saved in the first place and "I need to re-baptize" because I don't remember every minute detail of my baptism and I still struggled with sin. I know that I'm not a perfect Christian because the only one that was perfect was Jesus, but I know that my baptism was real and I have confessed with my mouth many times that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead.

I have had a complicated relationship with God. From middle school until now, I had no concrete plan to understand Jesus and God, despite me knowing that higher powers exist. But, after doing some bible studies and going back to church, I know that I need to answer God's calling and see God's hand at work. I have been doing bible studies for a while now, and I really find God's word and characters in the Bible to be interesting. Noah was an inspiring character to me as he created the Ark with the guidance of Him to survive the 1 year and 11 days Flood

There's a peace and calmness to understanding Salvation. To know its not about the works but about Christ and what he's done for me on that cross. I got to understand that salvation is not a job, it's not an occupation it doesn't have to be hard. It's being rooted in Christ and knowing that your faults are catered for because you've accepted him as your Lord and savior.

When Peter preached the Gospel to the crowd from different nations … THEY asked him, AFTER hearing the Gospel… what they must do in order to be saved……
Peter DID NOT say BELIEVE… it was apparent that they did…
Peter said, REPENT(change your mind and ways to GOD) and be BAPTIZED for the remission (cleaning off) of sin.
Jesus said in John C3 V5 that IN ORDER TO SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD, you MUST be born again…
Well how ? By a mom, ? Jesus said, OF COURSE NOT…. But by WATER, and SPIRIT- Baptism.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen. Trying to get more in touch with god. This is a good first step. I’ve never really been to church much. I am tired of people telling me I am not Christian enough to get into heaven etc. I have a relationship with God and pray to him often. I try to treat people the way god/Jesus would want me to. I try to be a good person. But I am tired of feeling like less of a Christian than the Bible thumpers who shame me. There is a alright way to go about speaking the work of Christ. I like your vibes. What really stuck out for me in this whole talk was believing for real, because we have these people out here that are getting saved, but they’re not being discipled, that’s been huge; it’s a big part of our walk!

Because of the doctrine that they were taught just like the DOCTRINE here! It’s of the devil! Nowhere does the Bible teach, faith ALONE saves.
Lets not forget to also add that 'one must continue to work out their salvation with fear and trembling philippians 2:12-13. The first step to to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth but that doesn't give us the licence to NOT live for Christ and think we can get away it. God bless you all

@@AChristianPod you’re welcome. Keep the Gospel simple like you guys are. Many people are trying to make it very complicated and confusing which the devil loves. The simplicity of the Gospel is the greatest truth ever revealed to mankind. I’ve made my own podcast however it is not as enjoyable to listen to in my opinion simply because it’s just me. Having other people and listening to a discussion is definitely easier to listen to.

I'm a teenager and I have been struggling for a while about having a fear of men and the judgement that I might receive for the things I do in school and what I look like and I don't know what to do about it and I was hoping that you guys could help me a little bit with that

This is a legit question and I would love an answer, if we’re made in Gods image, and God’s amazing and free of sin, then why aren’t we?
I think the biggest question for me is is it possible tp be baptized more than once? and i am asking this question for a reason which i'm going to share now..... before that though i am aware of a Scripture that says there's one God, one Spirit,one Christ etc..... Maybe you can share more Scriptures with me i'm not aware of regarding this topic.... I'm asking because in South Africa there's alot of Churches which yes serve the same God i believe however if for example i get saved or accept Christ in one Church amd decide to go to another church which has its own way of doing things as well.... They would ask you tp to get baptized again it's like being a member of every church you kinda need to be recognized so to speak..... I'm not sure if i'm making sense, what's your take on this?
