Like butter on silk, they are so smooth, they move quicker than the eye can follow, simply they are the best of the best. Lord keep them healthy and let them entertain the world.
Who else to watch now that RICCARDO and JULIA have retired? NOBODY....!!! Guess I’ll just watch CZcams videos of them.... but definitely wish them the absolute best for all the high level and what they have left .... LEGENDS OF DANCE..🌟❤️
If you don't enjoy dancing, if you do appreciate Talent, if you need convincing that these people are in great shape and spend 100's of hours practicing, watch a few minutes and believe me you will look at Dancing in a different way, a True form of physical Art. They weren't even breathing very hard, sitting down, resting after the dance, but were bowing to the crowd. They are athletes in a different form.

Yulia was very humble and her performance with the other couple especially the lady in the purple sequent dress if you’re trying to show off the best couple and the Latin ballroom dancing sorry they are absolutely perfectionist. They love what they do in it shows.
Only one negative thing about Riccardo and Yulia - I never could watch other couples. They set up the highest standard, their exit left a void on dance floor.

Feels like it would be some kind of alternative CIS championships :D Like very much that couples are pretty different comparing to each other.
I don't Ball Room Dance...I don't watch it...It really doesn't interest me...That said, a few months back I stumbled on a utube video of Yulia......I couldn't get enough of this "stunning" bundle of beauty and fire.....I crawled all over the net savoring every glimpse of this Goddess. So here I go again, just relaxing and checking out the tube...Then without warning, a Tsunami Wam! Now I know how a love sick school boy feels...again...lol....I can say with the utmost certainty, when Yulia is on the floor, everyone and everything else is just a back drop.....

Absolutely beautiful, BUT I would have preferred that she stayed more in [rumba] character - sultry and sensual, rather than smiling.
I see what you mean but my guess is that they opted to keep in tune with music in terms of theme. This song is very light, almost beachy (sic) and not as sultry as rumba I am used to hearing. Just my thought.

Танцевать надо или так как эта пара, или никак. По сравнению с ними остальные танцоры двигаются как в замедленной сьемке.
Согласна, у Юлии от природы удивительные данные. Видела её в 98м и уже была поражена скоростью и шикарными ногами.
Браво, Риккардо и Юлия, кроме природных данных этой блистательной пары, полученной по наследству от родственников, они обладают огромным трудолюбие, что отражается в каждом движении, а это уже личная заслуга.

Vera Newkold It is not clear why to open the mouth wide often either; I do hate this strained, completely artificial mannerism. Not many people in the audience are dentists ;-) I watch a lot of classical ballet and tango dancers; none of them show what they have inside their mouths. I do appreciate their class and elegance and I wish Yulia hadn't started the ridiculous "open-mouth" trend.
Pertelote 45. Can I add to this also one of my real favourites and that is all the sound effects from the guys and sometime the ladies too. Until about a decade ago or so I cant recall ever seeing it except occasionally in paso or in a show performance, but only occasionally. Now many have got in on the act and its got to the point of ridiculous. Riccardo tends to do it alot, but so do many others now. I recently saw Nino do it 7 times in one cha cha routine. Ballroom dancers have a real knack for being able to take a good thing and pushing it way too far. So between the over lifting of skirts, wide open mouths and contorted facials, ala Svetlana Gudno and Yulia as prime examples and the ooplahs from so many of the guys we have the holy trinity of kitsch. I've noticed over the years as as the dancing has become more dynamic and powerful so too has this other stuff increased accordingly. So maybe its just a natural development over time. I don't know why coaches have allowed these trends to permeate to such a degree really, but I'm not a fan of any of it. When you think about it, if the pros are leading the way, of course the amateurs are going to naturally follow. Anyway most things in this style of Latin I think are over done nowadays, so I hope a new champion and a new era may redirect some change back to less hype and more real Latin dance. Cheers.

I refrained from commenting on the sounds for the lack of adequately polite vocabulary ;-) As I mentioned before, I have been watching a lot of top class classical ballet dancers recently (e.g.Osipova, Acosta, Polunin) who are capable of extremely challenging performance, both mentally and physically, while maintaining dignified sound-less presence on the stage for lengthy periods of time. I believe ballroom dancers should follow suit but I might not live long enough to see it ;-) Cheers!
Lifting skirts exist in Paso a lot. I think it's part of the reason lifting skirt is often associated with girl power. Whenever she lifts the skirt, her upper arm makes the power pose just like in Paso. Personally, it does not bother me at all.
The Rumba is supposed to be much more smooth, not so choppy and stylistic as this was. Too many long pauses, just wrong. This is not the way the Rumba should be danced.

Sempre teremos comparações entre Joanna e Yulia, porém, cada uma tem a sua performance, apenas devemos ter respeito, pois Yulia é extremamente profissional e séria em sua profissão e como pessoa, pois temos um vídeo, o qual mostra nitidamente Joanna tentando dar um beijo em Ricardo, não me lembro se foi na dança de rumba, porém, se foi uma "brincadeira ", se tornou deselegante e anti profissional por parte dela, enfim, mostremos os fatos e não os achismos.
