Thai police just announced the investigation result. One of the dead person. Sherine Chong ( American Vietnamese ) did this. She has about 300k usd debt . She arranged the meeting to clear her debt . At first they wanted to go to japan but japan rejected their visa. Thailand is free visa and easier to enter for SEA citizens. They chose Thailand. Poor makeup artist he died for nothing

From what we have learnt so far, this is a group of friends and one of the victims who was a make up artist hired by them for photograph. The poison was suspected as Cyanide.

When I went to Thailand on a business trip of my husband w e stayed at Erawan district in Bangkok. We went to the mall nearby there was a couple man and woman trying to lure us to ride the Tuktuk it’s like a golf cart to show some handcrafted stuff outside the mall.
We badly refused to go along with them. Viewers be careful when you go to a different country.

They were trying to make money off of you. They weren’t dangerous. The thai people depend on tourism for their livelihood. Lots of underpaid thai people.
I cannot express how much this broke my heart. It just seems like such an overreaction and so unfair for the victims. Those poor people being robbed of their lives because of one unhinged individual. So selfish and heartbreaking.

The reporter provided irrelevant elaboration that did not offer any substantially new information apart from poisoning being the cause of death, to the newscaster’s simple question regarding what the Prime Minister said. And his rhetorical questions were more well-suited to a dramatic form journaling that seemed to distract more than to inform. An inadequately equipped journalist at best, and an unprofessional journalist at worst.
Guess the journalist wanted to clarify things from Thailand perspective. Definitely this is not the Thai way of saying "tourist go home" just like in Barcelona. Considering this is not the first incident which caused foreigner death in this month.
Bcoz only very little info already known. 7 booking, 5 checked in, 6 found dead, and 1 missing. Food served by hotel left untouched and found suspect drinks on investigation and to find out there may be the 7th person in the room before 6 dead.
Maybe they just don't know the information yet ? Or perhaps go look at other sources of news which is pretty standard practice.
