There is an old story from India about the God, Brahma, who was alone. Nothing existed but Brahma, and he was completely bored. Brahma decided to play a game, but there was no one to play the game with. So he created a beautiful goddess, Maya, just for the purpose of having fun. Once Maya existed and Brahma told her the purpose of her existence, she said, “Okay, let’s play the mot wonderful game, but you do what I tell you to do.” Brahma agreed and following Maya’s instructions, he created the whole universe, the sun and the stars, the moon and the planets. He created life on earth: the animals, the oceans, the atmosphere, everything.
Maya said, “How beautiful is this world of illusion you created. Now I want you to create an animal that is so intelligent and aware that it can appreciate your own creation.” Finally Brahma created humans, and after he finished the creation, he asked Maya when the game was going to start.
“We will start right now,” she said. She took Brahma and cut him into thousands of teeny, tiny pieces. She put a piece inside every human and said, “Now the game begins! I am going to make you forget what you are, and you are going to try and find yourself!” Maya created the Dream and still, even today, Brahma is trying to remember who he is. When you awake from the Dream, you become Brahma again and reclaim your divinity.

Just replace the Hindu references (like Brahma into the father, and Brahman into God) with abrahamic ones and it's the samething. They don't care what names we give them, just that we have an understanding of what's going on. They don't have identities like we do... Or at least God doesn't. The amount of different names not only have beings on Earth have given them, but beings who live elsewhere have as well.. it doesn't much matter.
I had an interesting experience in the store with my grandmother the other day. I've been practicing a lot of Hindu god worship lately and my grandmother is Christian... I saw a pair of shoes that were called "Brahma", and then later on I saw a book that said "God is with you.".. it literally doesn't matter what you call them, they don't care.

@@whb1153 Yeah. There's a lot of interesting stuff there. If you dive into the chakra system and Hinduism, you're going to notice a lot of similarities between some practices the abrahamic faiths and Hindus do.
An interesting fact is the Hindus mention that there are 108 chakras you can manipulate in the body, then there are 4 more total in the body, plus another 2 outside for a total of 114. There are prayer beads called "malas" that are at least 3000 years old that Hindus and Buddhists use to keep count when uttering mantras 108 times (and they have some other lesser uses). Now if you've ever counted the beads on a Catholic rosary there are 54 beads on the neck, and 6 (counting the mother Mary bead) going down to the cross... 54x2 is 108+6 is 114. The rosary is only about 400 years old. The Catholics knowingly or unknowingly using a process that's at least 3,000 years old to energetically connect to mother Mary, Jesus and other saints.
That's just one interesting thing about all this. I wish you luck, if you can pick apart the processes every faith uses and compare each one, you're going to find a lot of similarities. The Kabbalahistic Jews used to have many more tantric processes (like the Hindus do today) to contact angels and such interestingly, but the languages and processes were lost sadly. Enoch tried to bring some things back, however it seems he got a bit distracted and then written out of the bible lol.

"Maya" literally means "to measure", "to evaluate". Who am I? What is the universe? What is the source of all the phenomena, of all that appears? The evaluation depends on knowledge, which is always incomplete. Therefore, the evaluation, the measurement, is "what is not". If one takes the idea, the concept, as the truth, one is living under illusion. That is why the word "maya" is related with illusion.
Without this illusion, there in absolutely no separation, no division. The form and the non-form, the manifest and the unmanifested are the same life-consciousness.

You know it’s a lie when you told yourself that the person was in your room but there wasn’t but happened until after that you saw that it came true. Illusion is a word with much definitions and meaning it isn’t simple to some people. an illustration is also an illusion because the cartoon for example isn’t real it’s just something to express its character to capture behavior or exaggerate detail that makes them stand out. So the illusion can be from God something that can happen after yet a lie at first glance until revealed that it was something that will happen. In Spanish Illusion is used in term of hope also as a lie also it is a versatile word.
