The brand new 2021 Lexus IS has been completely redesigned, and is the first to sport the new Lexus Driving Signature. The IS was pushed to the limit on the new Shimoyama Test Track, where it's handling, dynamics, and refinement were all tested under extreme conditions. Improvements from the previous generation model include enhanced chassis rigidity and a revised suspension layout, both of which provide better steering feedback, reduce unwanted noise and vibration, and enhance ride comfort.
The 2021 Lexus IS is available in 3 models; the IS 300 RWD, IS 300 AWD, and the IS 350 AWD. The IS gives you your choice of a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine or a 3.5L naturally aspirated V6, and either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive all mated to an 8-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission.
For those seeking even more performance, F SPORT series packages are available that can add forged BBS wheels, active sound control, and a dynamic handling package with revised adaptive variable suspension.
But it's not just about sport, either. The IS perfectly blends sport and luxury, with a gorgeous NuLuxe leather interior, an LFA inspired digital instrument cluster, an available 10.3" touchscreen infotainment system, and the available 17 speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system.
