  • Dry ice is actually carbon dioxide that has been cooled to -79°C. It's the same gas that we breathe out and that plants use to make food. It's cheap, doesn't catch fire, and is easy to store when it's in liquid form. Since dry ice pellets are very soft, they don't scratch or wear away surfaces. So, it is the perfect way to clean metal surfaces without hurting them. Dry ice is a faster and more effective way to clean than using chemicals, tools, or ultrasonic cleaners. #dryice #industrial #cleaning #dryiceblasting

    someone literally saw plasma cleaning and said: "let's do the opposite of that" and cryo blasted something.

      Dry ice blaster and sand blaster should be complementary . Dry ice blasting is widely used, but it doesn't replace the 100% rust removal capability of a sandblaster .

    It's not sealed in airtight containers. The CO2 needs to vent out as it sublimates

      Yes. but the machines are very expensive
