Came here to say this! Maybe call in a Pathfinder to place a marker light that affects all damage like a mini Eldryon buff and then deliver an ion barrage?
I like to collect everything, so I doubled down instead of doubling up. I also dislike not being able to use my MoW in every case. I did it the other way around than you. I went bio first, and now go forge fiend. My arena's has been so much easier now with the biovore. Controlling AI to stand on top of chain and take double damage is amazing. You can also unlogdge a healer so you can kill them. I hate when you're stuck in a situation where there's a healer on a high tile with only one adjacent tile. You can't kill them, and they can't kill you. Well, now they can run after the spore and get killed.
In arena with biowore all you really need is his second ability. That is it. I don't think you even need to upgrade it for that. You can make thadeus to attack a spore, aka do nothing for a round. You can lure enemies to it. As for damage a spore, is rarely if ever managed to blow up on an enemy in HUNDREADS of arena battles, so just use it to mess with the ai and waste attacks on spores. What I think so far about spores is that, they die too easily. Most gold 1 characters can just over kill LVL35 spores except psychers. For psychers the mines do blow up if we use gold 1 characters.
I was new when the first MoW event happened. I chose the rocket launcher but I didn't understand what was going on...I chose it because Imperial was my strongest 'alliance' so far, and I assumed you'd use imperials to unlock the imperial MoW...but NOooooo...you used Xenos which were my weakest roster. I think I had like 8 total and I didn't get the whole die during any rarity run, stay dead in that rarity even with a new run. This time I have a much stronger roster just 6 weeks later. Chaos is now the weakest of the three but I should break into the Epic maps even so...I went for Biovore and have him unlocked with just two tokens spent vs not getting the rocket launcher at all during the first event because I ran out of characters, not tokens.
I'm improving my og pick the forgefiend because it does exactly what I want nukes summons that way I can use my late game strong characters to concentrate on the enemy teams and bosses
well im doubling down on my Malleus, but ive got Yarrick....still need to level him though to be useful I really want the biovore but im concerned about my Chaos units being insufficient whereas im running a full Necron team with no issues for the Malleus
I am really hoping it to be something like a tau riptide
I don't know tabletop but I wanted tau machine with range 3 stationary turrents
