"THE NEW YORK TIMES instructed journalists covering Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip to restrict the use of the terms “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” and to “avoid” using the phrase “occupied territory” when describing Palestinian land, according to a copy of an internal memo obtained by The Intercept.
The memo also instructs reporters not to use the word Palestine “except in very rare cases” and to steer clear of the term “refugee camps” to describe areas of Gaza historically settled by displaced Palestinians expelled from other parts of Palestine during previous Israeli-Arab wars. The areas are recognized by the United Nations as refugee camps and house hundreds of thousands of registered refugees."

What was once considered the "paper of record" has become the "paper of toilet."
It's sad that anyone showing anything close to sympathy for the suffering for Palestinians is automatically called 'Pro-Hamas'. No... We're not 'Pro-Hamas'. We're anti-terrorism regardless of who is doing it! What Hamas did was wrong on Oct. 7th and what Israel is doing now in response to it is also wrong. Bias is everywhere and no one publication doesn't show it. Through several publications you can discern what is fact and what is opinion. Meanwhile - global condemnation in the news for the Iranian retaliatory strike against Israel for Israel's attack on an Embassy (considered SACRED land by ALL NATIONS) & calling it an escalation in hostilities but almost no condemnation in the news for Israel for attacking a place PROTECTED by international law (so foreign diplomats are safe) WHICH WAS the cause of this escalation. If any other country had attacked an Embassy America & the G7 nations would be condemning that nationt the top of their voices as they are now against Iran for PROTECTING itself. Lastly; if had been an American Embassy attacked the US would be declaring war against that nation & doing non-stop retaliatory drone strikes NOW.
