I saw this on tiktok, the spirit of God led me here and the realization I have is this could have been me or even worse. I praise God for your deliverance because aside from what it has done for you it has set me stead in my decision to leave a man who was exactly as you described, unfortunately for me he was even physically abusive and even though I left, that was like two weeks ago, my first week was shaky because I kept going back and forth on the decision but this past week, I've been in self pity wondering who would ever love me like he did despite the abuse.... Imagine that. This has made me realize those thoughts stem from a deeper place, somewhere along the way I lost my identity and worth and I let him and other external things define me.... I'm reclaiming back my life in the Lord so thank you Tosin and Our lovely Host❤.

That was eye opening
The devil is really terrible. I could feel the darkness of the story through my screen. I met with such a person in my life, and I just remembered how God delivered me. After breaking up with him, the temptation to go back returned. I didn't even pray but that was the first time God prepared a dream for me to warn me of danger. God really cares so much about us. Like her father said, I thank God for her life and my life as well.

Listening to this just made me realize how much God has delivered me. When I surrendered my life to God the devil brought a man into my life last year that all the things he was saying was contradicting my new belief and worst still dis man claimed to be a Christian and was trying to take me back to a life of sin, all forms of sexual immortality that I have left. I didn't even know how I ended that relationship. I just knew that my peace was gone and All I know is God intervened & he opened my eyes to realize it early this year & the things I should never indulge in again. Just want to say thank you Jesus for setting me free

Jesus! When she said she still had two failed relationships after the toxic one, i felt it in my bonesss😭. This lady is a voice indeed.
" ..When an enemy sees that you have a voice, he will try silence that as early as possible.. ". (Not just a "nice" voice but an impact and Influence) . He will attack this into fear of failure, embarrassment .

I'm not even halfway into the interview but when she mentioned how the principal spoke about her being an average student I wept because all through my primary school days that was the report accompanied with 'She's a talkative ' and for some reasons I want to go back to time,hug myself and say 'it's just an average performance, it doesn't define you'. Truly the words we speak are life and death.

Right now, some people would define me as very timid and quiet. But there was a point in my life when I was referred to as talkative even in my report card. Sometimes I imagine if all the antagonism changed me to become quiet.

True. Had my own share. It made me live with shame, guilt, and anger. I am healing gradually.
Everyone will go through their portion of life issues no matter how protective our parents are, even some parents protected their children out of destiny....what I know is that parent should let their children know that they are save haven and can be accessed and can be spoken to
Also parents should give the ample gifts of praying in the Spirit to their individual children....for we know not what we should pray for as we ought.
She became who she is today because of the experience she had....God has been part of the journey all along!

I met someone like this too. I got a distraction and God rescued me from the relationship Nov 16,2023. I got boldness from nowhere and I spoke back to the verbal abuse and he was so upset and he hung up. Tried calling me after a week, two and then three weeks later, he still called me. For the first time in this relationship, I ignored him. At that time, I thought I was mirroring him, now I know God used that to rescue me. Hallelujah to the most high God.

God rescues and protects his own
My episode with ungodly relationships was so short, and I'd like to think it's because God's grip was already all on me. The guy was my first valentine and the first person to ever tell me their feelings, and I was like yeah, why not? Soon after that I found out he was a chronic sex addict. We never did the deed, but because I never let him get to that level he went to basically everywhere else. I don't know how or why God did it, because I told Him I wanted nothing to do with Him after a loved one died. Someone was praying for me for sure, cuz eventually the rose-tinted glasses fell off and I cut it off really quick. He tried to get me back a few times but I never said yes, I just left him with a blessing, that the way God delivered me, may He deliver him. Praise God.
First, I return all glory to God for this mind-blowing testimony.

Also, I stand in the gap to intercede for every broken soul. Schools need to be discerning when hiring teachers, as they are crucial to the growth of children. So they can treat each child uniquely, as every child is different. Comparison can be harmful in many ways.🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Or rather, teachers need to be properly trained about this, both in schools and in the Church.

Safe for a couple of twists and different plots, Tosin Yemi Sanni just described my entire life. I am grateful that I am healed to an extent and I can't even deny the faithfulness of God in my healing journey. I stand today as a faithful witness of the healing and loving power of Christ. It is so overwhelming. I can connect very well to everything she has shared. I am grateful to God that through her many people in the same traumatic places are finding healing and power.
It's not the fear of God that leads you to righteousness, it the revelation of the love of God!

Hey dear, I totally related to tosin as well. From her childhood story to her dating life. I've been dealing with a come back of my childhood trauma, my husband even had to get me a therapist! But I'm much better than I was two weeks ago
Listening to this, you will think its a joke but truely, people are going through alot outside but only God can help us all
I said this once to my colleague who said some of these ordeals are meant to train you so you know how to deliver others, I said what if you lose yourself in that pit and can never get yourself back. But I know now that God will never leave his messengers in the mess.

This testimony is so so timely for me. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability with us. That man was a narcissist. I know because this is so familiar. They become the idol in your life by mirroring you during the lovebombing stage, then suck your soul dry. You lose your identity, sanity, you lose everything about you. I thank God she was redeemed. It's by God's mercies I was also not consumed, God got me out in time after I cried to Him in surrender. Saddest part is that my ex narcissist is a church guy, always present in all services, very active in service. God have mercy on His people

This is so like my story,this bad guys are so calm and composed you can't come out unless God comes for you,but the part that God has saved you to serve Him,coz it's not common to be saved from search. Have been fighting going to do God's will and focusing on just working and getting money but this has touched my soul that I have to do His will to feel the harmony and the joy have always been looking for, may God direct my feet to agree to His will however.

This story resonates with me . Same story other than I’m older . I have gone the wrong direction twice ignoring the leading of the HS. But he never left me , he kept telling me that this is not his will for me . After the second attempt ,I realized the voice on grace n love was still resonating . I made a complete u turn n decided to relinquish my will n choice to him . Lord have your way ! I will follow ur lead and direction . The peace of the lord encompassed my heart n I am so excited for my future .

I cried so so much listening to this. I cried because I resonated with so many parts of her story. For the first time in my entire life, I am accepting of how broken I am and how I have a low self confidence. The fact that Tosin spoke for about 1 hour, 20 Minutes and never dropped a tear shows how strong she is. She did not even cry, such solid spirit she has.
