Thank you for your reaction to PITTA (Kang HyungHo of Forestella). He was working as a research chemist in Lotte BP Chemical; quite good company providing high salary when he auditioned at Phantom Singer 2. As the audition was designed for making a (good-looking) classical crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea, there were bunch of opera singers who majored in classical vocal and well-known musical actors. He was the only office worker who majored in (chemical) engineering in whole participants. But he used to sing as a vocalist in an amateur rock band (the band name was Pitta but it became Pittaband afterwards) in his leisure time. He stole the show singing the Phantom of the Opera duet song by himself. His audition clip has more than 4 millions views now only from Koreans as JTBC didn't release the video for abroad..if it was shown in the CZcams at that time, he could be known to the world like Paul Potts in Braitain's Got Talent. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the labourers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire from that contest. He used to cover Muse so he developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, great singing technique, too.) He said he thought he could quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would get. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart. I have been their fan for almost 5 years now... and believe me.. I still cry and have goosebumps every time I hear them.. Je suis malade is a masterpiece without a doubt. I really do recommend it

He actually digests a higher register. On his pitta CZcams channel, he uploaded the female part half an octave up. And he did c5 in the song Champions. Also on the Immortal Songs program, he had a simple high-pitched contest with a female singer, and he played a higher note than the Champions. This video is probably the highest note he has ever shown. However, he had a cold and had to compete in a program, so he had to stop there. The member (Bae Doo-hoon) sitting next to him told him to stop because he was afraid of hurting him.😆 Just the fact that he freely changes his vocal style is amazing surprising. He was born with a great vocal cord.

When I first saw his rendition of phantom of the opera it blew my mind. I like the craziness he added at the end. By the way, the background vocals are from other Forestella members.
