Great to see how many people are supporting him. I took his classes years ago, and hes an incredibly intelligent, and kind person. When the controversy against him first started gaining momentum, i was worried he would be buried by it. If you listen though, it's much worse than that. It isn't that Professor Peterson refused to use such pronouns. He's mentioned several times that he was quite open to accommodating students in such a fashion. His rejection is only of being required to do so by the law, as introduced by the legislation he is opposing. People just constantly take his position out of context. He isn't arguing against the use of the pronouns themselves so much as the utter ridiculousness of enforcing the use of said pronouns by the force of law.

While I would agree, yet after a certain point, it has to be realized that discussion with those people are essentially a vacuum space/area. It’s pointless. If you listen though, it's much worse than that. It isn't that Professor Peterson refused to use such pronouns. He's mentioned several times that he was quite open to accommodating students in such a fashion. His rejection is only of being required to do so by the law, as introduced by the legislation he is opposing. People just constantly take his position out of context. He isn't arguing against the use of the pronouns themselves so much as the utter ridiculousness of enforcing the use of said pronouns by the force of law.

This is possibly ONE of the reasons that you can see so many interviewers actively trying to make him lose his cool. Free speech means that I may say word or utterance that I choose without fear of violence. The only speech that cannot be protected is speech which calls for direct actions of violence.
