- Drew Barrymore chats with ET's Denny Directo on the set of 'Hollywood Squares' about season 5 of her talk show, @TheDrewBarrymoreShow . The talk show host reacts to the show getting renewed for two seasons and what it means to her. Drew also shares how she's going to practice 'physical distance' as she's known for getting up close and personal during her interviews with her guests.
I kinda enjoy how she does that. Shows how into the conversations she is and really cares. Its better than other shows where they all just sit in the chair
I love this woman.❤❤❤❤❤
Congratulations ❤😊. You deserve it.
Take a step back Drew...
She needs to get people have personal space
I hope this is the first step for her getting the help she needs.
Congratulations, Drew. 😅
As much as I adore Drew, i don't like the close contact while she's interviewing the guests. As someone who is claustrophobic and has social anxiety, and also I don't like touchy feely people, my anxiety could never. I kind of wish she wouldn't do that
She almost was sitting in her ex-husband‘s lap. When she interviewed him he was very uncomfortable. You could tell by his body language.
Lol
Nice interview
There's that 'joy' word being echoed..
I hate how drew always touching and hanging on to her interviews, she take there space

I give Drew a lot of credit for growing up to be such a sweet intelligent woman. That being said, I don't enjoy watching the show because I feel secondhand discomfort with the way she sits on top of her guests. I imagine she has great oral hygiene because her guest must smell everything, she ate that week.
Agree. I really like her, have always rooted for her to be well and happy and I'm glad her show is a success. But I have a hard time with her interview style. If she's talking to a really close friend then fine get in their lap lol, but she does it with guests she's just met.
Agreed. I always really liked her, but seeing the clear discomfort of some of her guests makes me uncomfortable through the screen. I’m sure there are some guests that don’t mind her being up close, but she’s gotta read her guests comfort level better.
@@Coco-zu9ob Even close friends need their space. She needs to have her assistants visit with her guests and find out what their style is before the show and then keep her distance (for 90% or more of them that don't want to be stroked or breathed on) and then set up two chairs. Can you imagine going to her home for a visit? Speculation is you would be running around trying to find your space. She seems like a nice person overall but she needs to get some help with someone who can help her with her issues of personal space. I don't watch talk shows in general but have seen enough. Hard to take her seriously when she is making a fool of herself. Imagine if Jimmy Kimmel or Steve Colbert did this. Not appropriate in my opinion.
I been a big fan of dew Barrymore since et and wild girls
This girl (me) grew up watching this awesome girl!! She is so wise… E.T. was my first favorite movie EVER. Haha, she convinced me I would find my own E.T. ... Firestarter was also a great movie!! So glad she’s doing so well, makes me happy. ❤️
Nice to see that daytime talk is in good hands after recent exits by Ellen, Wendy Williams, and Dr. Phil just to name a few. She and Kelly Clarkson are carrying the torch beautifully
And Jennifer Hudson! Very good hands. Lovely caring women who are kind despite their difficult experiences.👏❤
i loved Wendy Williams
Jennifer Hudson too.
Yes!
Two for Drew
or
2 more 4 🍒 more🌷
Drew is kinda boring tbh and too touchy...but I'm happy for her and her show nonetheless.
Love you and your show but…. You do get too in your face with guests
Drew .....honey it's called personal space!!!!
I like Drew but I cringe watching her when she’s invading personal space. It distracts from the conversations she’s having 🤷♀️
The cringiest talk show host in history. I can’t watch it.
❤❤❤
Her close interviews are creepy and weird
You got to stop talking about your personal problems that you had you got to start asking your gas more questions not letting them listen to you
Better ask the at the beginnng Drew you dont want to offend the babies.
American mentality, having Drew as a host, where are the normal people. Drew has a problem putting a sentence together, 'not never' good grammer
I told warren no.
I like her as a actress but as a tv show host not so much
hi
Show business kids making movies of themselves, they don't give a fok about anybody else
And promoting your cheap products
She's creepy
Very wealthy. But still. She craves attention (physical/emotional) due to a traumatic and loveless childhood. Sad.
I mean, it is freaking sad. Even tho they had had money, the way her mother treated her was just genuinely sad. So many adults are still working to untangle the trauma they experienced during their formative years.
I love drew so much, & i dont know if we get her show in Australia, i dont think we do. But if we did i couldnt wstch it because her claustrophobic touching & pawing at guests makes me almost hyperventilate. It makes me cringe so hard. How can anyone concentrate on the interview when the host is mounting her guests like a golden retriever?
Drew looks 70 years old... Ugh
She dresses with 70s flare. That's what's confusing you.
no she doesn't she's is 49 you know she isn't as young as she used to be.
@@jennmartin5199 49 going on 70... She looks terrible!!!
@aussiejubes No... It's her wrinkled face and sagging neck skin... Not a good look at 49!!!
