men's javelin is my personal favorite when I'm bored at 3AM
2am here
same here
Hahaha shit
5 am
3:11am 🤣
hello fellow commenters, please back me up when I say, "don't put the winner in the thumbnail please!" how can you not get that half the fun is not knowing who will win?
The thumbnail doesn’t give away as much as putting the winner in the title but I guess people will always complain
@little special child I'd recommend you not read the comments before watching the video... There's always a chance that someone will spoil it. Just a friendly reminder.
Maybe if u didn’t comments this I wouldn’t have known
choosing beggars everywhere.
Who is watching after niraj gold in Olympics
Did he compete here?
@@nintendoaddict9615 no he was injured in 2018

not me, stop seeking attention for no reason
1:19 Peters has won my full support after that
McGregor lite
LOL
9:00 look at that cart just racing back with the javelin

He was innjured that time
Has nothing to do with this, Peters🥇
@@lars2k901
He is better than Peter's moronn
@@NOU-iw3gb still has nothing to do with this video, morron😁
@@NOU-iw3gb does it matter here man
I like how kirt falls with full control.
At 21, Peters is standing to become a legend and dominator in this event.
They said the same thing about Walcott
@@nicholaslindo1531 Not exactly dominant but he's managed to have a great career after the surprise 2012 gold. Anyway, I don't think we will be seeing a Zelezny type of dominance, he was one of a kind. I might be proven absolutely wrong, of course.
Keshorn Walcott olimpyc champion 2012 with 21 years old, its not necessary the young people
@@thomasparandey6481 In the sport of Javelin, it is indeed.
@@thomasparandey6481 I think he was younger than that.
Always so nice seeing your friends make it internationally
Which athlete?
I can relate to the Grenada guy. When I was kid, I threw sticks at high up tree branches and leaves to knock down cicada shells, bringing them to the ground intact. I threw javelin for 6 years and was dominant in my middle and high school years. I miss those competitions
15:29 it didn't occur to me that these guys have day jobs
Sadly these kind of athletics games dont offer much as reward
@@deepanshusharma1767 ye unless you have massive sponsors
Loved it champion from my homeland 🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩 473 to the world
Eetu Autio
If only u watched the video first.
Respect to Grenada. A small island that is producing Olympic champions.
5:40 Yeb just stand right next to where the javelin is gonna land.
In HS, i was happy with about 45 meters. Blows my mind how these guys can double that.
If Peters could find a more linear trajectory and not throw so high with such a curve he would have been throwing well over 90m. Incredible throw compared to everyone else at this arena.
If neeraj is here he will throw 88 and win gold nobody other than rohler can throw 90 plus in big event
@sports tech ok
@sports tech calm ur p#ssy now i guess u show the finals now🤙
Just threw 93m 🔥🇬🇩
Rightly said man
Peters seems very confident. Congratulations Mr. Peters.

5:19 that was close! 😱
I hope they get hazard pay
Dude I was just thinking that! Crazy!!!!
Imagine getting impaled by one of these.
@@kenmendoza6932 in Germany idk what's the place javelin went through a guys jaw he's dead now
@@mural9875 no shit...
I'm a throws official and I can definitely tell you- they were standing waaaaay too close to the implement. No way that would be allowed in the US.
Can you imagine Alexander, Ramesses or Caesar watching this event? They would never believe this is possible
No I think even then they prolly throw this much
@@valiu6235 bruh how do you know
"He put his body behind it, he put his body behind it, he put his body behind it"..... We already know they throw far...
But they could get even better distance if they put their body behind it.
Never plan a final one day after qualification again.. Disapointing results because of that.
Yego faulting out was so crappy
Congratulations on Peters' second straight victory.
16:38 he was so disappointed 😂
These men would have been literal fucking supersoldiers and warrior overlords back in Ancient Rome and Greece
I noticed how perfectly round brother Peters head is. Maybe he had an aerodynamic edge? Great effort! Congratulations! PWG
Damn the commentator lady was really into peters
more like really annoying
Been waiting on this 🇬🇩
NEERAJ CHOPRA WON IND FIRST EVER TRACK AND FIELD MEDAL AND THAT TOO A GOLD(ind only 2 individual gold in history of olympics) IN TOKYO 2020.
He is now asian champion ,cwg champion ,olympic champion and a junior world record holder .

Lucky peters, Neeraj was injured during this time.
Lol. Please type sensibly 😂😝
@Communist Neeraj’s best throw is of 88.07m
@bhhfgvc I agree with you; I didn’t read what you typed before properly. Sorry :)
In the middle of the 20th century, a group of Basques (Northern Spain) popularized the sport of "barra vasca", a different way of throwing the javelin, turning the body at the time of the race, Félix Erausquín in an exhibition in Vitoria On April 7, 1957, he launched a 94.50m throw and the well-known journalist and adventurer De la Quadra Salcedo, in his time as an athlete, in 1956, threw the javelin at 82'80 meters and the following year he began to exceed 100 meters regularly. His personal record was set at an astronomical 112.30 meters away, an insurmountable distance for pitchers of the time. They could not go to the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 because they did not want to admit the Basque style and they changed the rules, apart from the fact that the stadiums were not prepared for those launches.
I would love to give it a go
Man I have been enjoying the shit out of these videos! Thanks CZcams for recommending them :D
“He bangs his chest doesn’t he”

Peters didn't get through to final of tokyo2020. These guys need to keep on working hard to be successful always.. That's y Bolt is the greatest ever athlete on track and field..
Wait he didn't which did he placed 3rd?
bolt is not the only great track and field athlete ever, plus he is just a freak, he wasn't the most disciplined
@@ailaaaishapath9823 no disrespect but how is he a freak
Congrats bro!!!
“DOESNT IT?”
87.58
Still far Ahead of all these.
great job
It's unfortunate they can upload an hour long video for pole vault but can't show even half of throws. Maybe there will be better luck on the women's javelin video. :(
Dom T none of these throws were even good
I don't know why but after Neeraj Chopra won gold in olympics suddenly I started getting recommendations so much javelin videos😅
Vetter foul intentionally after bad throw 😂😂😂
5:26 was beautiful 😳💯
100km/h Javelin throw, sure lets have two people on the field to measure it faster.
Dammm from 85+ to 90+ ... Transition is humongous
This woman has absolutely nothing to say about javelin. No expertice, just saying random things in random order.
not only she should be fired but whoever hired her should be fired
You should be jailed for hating women!
And Neeraj Chopra 87.57 in Olympic 💪
Will the World Athletics or Olympics ever have a Javelin Accuracy sport? I think it'd be really fun to watch.
that’s darts, my friend XD
But yeah I’ve thought about that to
@@Guy-dv9xw no its not darts. Silly comparison by the way very silly.
Neeraj has won Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gold with a throw of 87.58m.
07/08/21
And in 2017 world championships, the bronze medalist was 88.32m
@@sambhavraichand2601 Thats great..and thx for the info... But Comparision was not something which I was expecting. And surely, Neeraj will get his peak performance improved as he is still 23.
Don't be surprised, if he crosses 90+ mark in coming years.
@@sambhavraichand2601 in javelin throw wind speed and atmosphere matters! In Tokyo it was hot and humid so it was tough to get the distance! Even vetter couldn’t touch 86 meters mark when he has already thrown 90+ 17 times this year
@@Killjoy1204 don't find excuses, player should perform in the every worst case possible.
Yea we Indians are more familiar with heat tropical zone thus he dominated there
@@sambhavraichand2601 dude weather conditions matter the guy who won it didn't even finish in the top 8.
Heard this female commenter on a few different videos now and it's sad to me how much of a bias she has to a few specific competitors while dismissing the others. Maybe that's the reality of professional athletics. I don't personally care for it.
I am a javelin thrower too
Achilles definitely had the longest throw in history in the movie troy...
Go Kirt ! 😁
Vetter has been a noshow at big events
I wish they would give a camera angle that shows the distance better...the cuts are like watching a transformers movie lol.
Neeraj chopra❤️
That bellyflop landing will catch up with you eventually.
These were good hunter & gatherer genes
I was happy to get 18m in pe
What happened to Julias Yego ?? Why he wasn't throwing after the first time ??

does no one mention that javelin robot at 4:54
Those robots are common in javelin throw.

Why should they
9:00 why is there a lawnmower in the background
crazy to think that these guys aren't even coming close to a guy, Jan Zelezny, who was throwing over 25 years ago.
Thats bcoz centre of gravity is changed in the bhala (javelin)
Some research shows this re-design occurred in 1986 for men’s javelin so that’s not relevant for the comparison I made here.
