Clearly a lot of animosity had built up and despite their 10 years of friendship they had very poor communication skills. I think the tattoo was a horrible thing to do that guy and I don't know why his friend did it when he seemingly wanted to continue the friendship?
I think that tattoo would kill just about any relationship.

The only way I would do this would be with something I’ve never had any problems with, ever. For some reason most of these people absolutely hate their partner
I think it depends on who you go with. There were some sweet ones: the tat of their daughter, a memorial for a deceased father and an autisim awareness tat. People just have to genuinely care about the other person.
the last one. even a stranger or enemy wouldnt choose that tattoo. hes pretty much hated his "best friend" the whole time to do smthg like that...i mean :(
I feel like there’s a huge difference between discussing with your friend that you’re concerned about their mental health and something bad happening to them from sleeping around so much and just outright slut-shaming your best mate on television PLUS basically getting a Scarlet A tattooed all around their crotch. i honestly felt really bad for taj and allison. i had a similar experience happen to me with one of my bestest friends in the world. her and i grew up together and were inseparable. she came out to me as a lesbian a few years ago, telling me that she loved me from the bottom of her heart in more ways than one, telling me how special i was. she drew pictures of us together, all of that.
i’m a cishet woman who’s a proud ally of the lgbtqia+ community and even helped start her gofundme page after her sister was killed in the pride parade last year. she and i got closer after that situation and we bonded.
when she told me she loved me like that, i genuinely felt like my world came crashing down bc i didn’t share those feelings that she did. i was also in my current relationship at that time, we were together for a few months, almost a year, so it was really hard to break the news to my bf about it.
long story short, her and i are still very good friends, she moved to tullahoma to a university where she got a full ride from her time playing high school varsity volleyball. we haven’t seen each other since august before she left, but it still resonates with me bc i never ever thought someone would tell me the things she told me. my boyfriend is amazing no doubt, but even he didn’t say the things she said she loved about me until later in the relationship. i felt so hurt.
so yeah, i completely understand taj and allison’s pain. that is really hard on someone.
