Man I used carried one these in the cccs all season long every chose a McCloud but I chose the Travis tool holy crap we used Sharpen them with a angle grinder back when we got at the campsite
It's a robust tool, I've used a file but next time I might use angle grinder.

Great video on it they must get them from the BIG disk that thing is thicker than what is on ours and my buds disk but it was what i thought it was ! looks to work good but i think the dogs were having more fun in the dirt than you ! LOL just make sure that it is not sticking up to high on your new carry all with that long handle hate to see you hit a tree with it ! hope you stay dry it is to start raining again tomorrow have a great week take care and God bless ! What size handle did you go with? 48 or 54 inch?
I think it was a 54 inch handle.
