When I had my first pint of Guinness, it was terrible. I didn't touch another for years. I ended up down in London in a bar on a side street off the Tottenham Court Road visiting a friend who had moved to London. It was amazing. I drank 8 pints in ninety minutes. I realised then how variable the quality can be.
yeah I noticed that, when I would go to pubs more often it became my go to but on occasion it would be a tad different, excluding a terrible pour I had on one, had like way to much head
I lived in Dublin for 2 years before I ever had a pint on Camden Street. The Bleedin Horse was the pub. Looking forward to checking out these three next time I'm in town 😀

Have a question....what about a pint that was poured before your pint...the metal would be a different temperature than the pint you would have. Would that affect the head etc...?
The only downside when they say they “have a seat, I’ll bring it over” is that sometimes they get distracted and when you get it, it’s settled for too long.

There's so many good non touristy pubs on the Southside of Dublin where this video is filmed but I can recommend starting off in Mulligans in Poolbeg Street move on up to Bowes on Fleet Street then finish up in The Dame Tavern on Dame Lane , that should be enough for a day/night 👍
Camden Street is the best spot in Dublin if you want to avoid the tourist trap of Temple Bar. Devitt's is my favourite which has already been shown here in the CZcams video. Flannery's on Camden Street is also a good spot. And The Bleeding Horse just around the corner.
I'm from the uk and love guiness. It's so different in every pub though which I find bizzare. Is the guiness in Ireland so much better and more creamy than the UK. Alot of people says it is so I may have to visit 🍀

What about trying a reverse two part pour. Whereby you'd fill her to the harp by pushing the tap back (away from ya) and topping her off by pulling the tap forward. All in the name of science lads 💪.
Guru…top tip…I live in the states and the bartenders usually stay behind the bar (if you order from them, they are expecting you to get the beer at the bar, typically) but, if you want a drink at a table, then a server will come by and take your order and bring you the beer. This may be why you had some problems ordering at the bar and then sitting down and the beer not getting to you timely…great content! You the man!

get your arse back to Edinburgh , Thistle street bar is the best pint ive had here on its cheap as hell for dead centre . Add the open fire and nice low bar. best pint in town. I sank 3 in 30mins waiting for my bus home, a personal record. I could sit there all night
Nothing worse than the swirling of the glass in my opinion a mate of mine always does it as well, makes the ends less creamy and completely ruins the shtick aesthetic!

Next time your in london you need to try the 8 bells in Putney (I know it’s a bit of a treck) but it’s unreal!
And the Grosvenor in Pimlico, especially older white guy 👌 unreal and both would give Guinea grill a run for its money
