I gotta admit I really look forward to going fishing with you, Richard. I can't help but smile every time I get the chance. Keep em coming, brother, and I'll keep tagging along with you. I've found some awesome fishing channels here on CZcams but I ain't found one like yours. You're the best… in my opinion…okay… :)
Richard you are so humble and give us everything you are doing. Others let us watch them catch the fish and dont show us crap other than the catch. Thank you sir! I have learned more from you then any other person on CZcams!
I love this guy watch his videos all the time I don't know about Alabama but in Northern Ohio once fall comes catching crappie is the easiest and best time to get them
I finally figured out who you remind me of......your southern draw, and the way you explain your presentation reminds me of the Man from Tennessee ( Bill Dance)
I am going to try some of these techniques here on my home lake in Waco, Tx. Some of the water looks just like what you fish and I think it would work here, I mainly fish stumps, brush piles and stick ups I have never tried using the floats. Hopefully these techniques will help me when I'm making my videos. Thanks so much
I agree with what you said about the crappie scattering, but only in non-tidal water. When I fish tidal (Potomac River for example), the crappie kind of bunch, but by size. So, they kind of scatter, but bunch up by size. I catch some nice crappie in the fall just jumping around different pods of fish until I hit the bigger ones. Great vid!
Good fishing video. I don’t have near the luck you have fishing with gigs. I’ve fished around docks and in the open water from depths 7 to 15 feet of water in the fall. Set my depths from 3 to 6 feet. I mainly catch crappie during the spawning season or at night putting lights out using minnows. I catch them at night just about year round. I fish at lake Eufaula in southern Alabama. I heard a lot about Guntersville and Wiess lake about the crappie fishing. I heard that it’s a bomb. My lake house is 15 miles south of Eufaula or 7 miles north of Ft. Gains, Georgia
another great video sir love it every time I watch your videos they make my day so thanks and love how you tell us everything your doing and how your fishing them it help out a lot cause other one that do these kind of videos just show them fishing and catching fish but not what they use or how they use them but you do in alk your videos so thanks

I tried crappie fishing around docks and laydowns yesterday with no luck. I think it had something to do with the amount of threadfin shad. There was literally thousands everywhere I went. All about 2.5 inches long. I was on Wilson lake.
Awesome video! But, Mr Richard, all do respect, I say this comically, but you’re color-coordinated with your sweater, rod’n reel and jig color...that’s awesome to me...lol...
Richard, we need a Firedye video so you can show these people how great its, I love it and I think you would too, Chartreuse is the only kind I've used but they make different colors. Check it out.
Great video with a beautiful backdrop! I too have been catching them in shallower water and underneath docks too. Location...Perry Lake, Kansas and private estate 17 acre pond.
Man o man I can't Waite go crappie fishing soon to busy deer hunting right now would love to fish with you even tho I live in VA lol awesome video man I always watch everyone you post keep slaying them crappie
Would using a bobber in a shallow creek work? It flows from the river. Which the river is flooded right now and crappie and other fishes goes into the creek.
Do you ever use a slip cork and what's your go to rig to find crappie in New bodies of water you have never fished before. I thank you 4 your videos I gain so much from you God bless and keep your rod bent.Jeremy Bosley

What is that you've added to your boat, the long metal bars
yeah that is what i was wondering
Same here. Im guessing its a type of Pole Anchor?
He talked about it at the end. They are shallow water anchors.
Richard, we need a Firedye video so you can show these people how great its, I love it and I think you would too, Chartreuse is the only kind I've used but they make different colors. Check it out.
Its a live bait dyeing product called Firedye
Really have trouble catching them in the fall. Great video
Great video with a beautiful backdrop! I too have been catching them in shallower water and underneath docks too. Location...Perry Lake, Kansas and private estate 17 acre pond.

Would using a bobber in a shallow creek work? It flows from the river. Which the river is flooded right now and crappie and other fishes goes into the creek.

Excuse me for the stupid question but what are the long poles running down the side of your boat?
Hey Richard I got a video request for you you should do a crappie catch and cook video
thanks
When lakes turnover it get tough for a few weeks or so
I caught a crappie today on my baitcaster using 65lb braided with rapala ultra light rippin rap, the fish had no chance of escape. lol
What size and brand of float are you using? Thank you
What are the white pvc tubes for on the side of your boat? I’m assuming they drag bottom to help hold you still in shallow water instead of a anchor??
Another great video Richard 👍👍👍👍
That first slab WOOOOO would have made about 4-6 samiches
Boat looking clean bro. Nice job 👍
Trout SOS line?
Love CADENCE👍👍
I'm surprised to see Elmo didn't go get to go out there with you!
Richard, what are the poles on you're boat?
