- Here is a video of the RCF micro mini bike I built. It's powered by a 2 smokka Chrysler Westbend 580. I haven't had the open space to really get in the rpms but she moves. These are such fun bikes. My buddy Chad Ryan on Facebook did the seat for me. Hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.

gee - that's "compact" ! back int day I had a new Flexo "Big Bear Scrambler" with the West Bend 580 - lots of torque as geared as a twist of the throttle could dump the rider on the ground. My dad would ride to the local bootlegger on it. There were two old guys who ran a TV repair shop two blocks from my house in Huntington WV and they raced karts. I never saw any of those races but those guys who must have been in their 60's in 1964, ported my 580 and set it up with dual carbs. The jackshaft would always pop out and the chain lock the rear wheel. Also, one time riding I hydroplaned on a wood bridge center rail and wrecked - when I got up it felt like there was new suspension involved - the single downtube had broken and only the top tube was supporting the fork. - Some wedls and gussets later it was good again. Hey have there been any Comet style torque converters set up for 2-stroke engines like the 580? That would be loads of fun compared to being stuck at one ratio.
Well it has a jackshaft so I can change the gear ratio. I was thinking of giving it some more torque. But it rides pretty well. Not sure about a converter sure someone has a way to use them.

Well this is a RCF Micro. A guy names Evan actually makes these frames nowadays. You can look up RCF mini bikes on google. I just got this frame because I wanted something I could easily take with me to car shows and stuff.
