My brothers and sisters in Islam please control your eyes, hearing, bad thoughts, anger, what you hear this month. as well as your eating. Many people also don’t do their salah during Ramadan. This makes your fast less effective and Allah subhanatallah will not give you as much reward for the month. I understand a lot of you work during the month so please be patient during the month and ask your employer to give you time to pray. In North America especially Canada we have certain rights so please ask for those if you are working during Ramadan. I wish you all a successful Ramadan, and hope and wish you see Lailatul Qadr inshallah.

Martell Tha Cool yeaap. the way muslims fast is, we eat early in the mornings before sunrise or right before fajr prayer (every fajr prayer in different places also have different times) then fast the whole day, we break the fast after sunset or maghrib prayer.
      Hope this helps 😊

Oh Sorry, ramadan is a month where you gain weight, it doesn't seem beneficial But out dated rituals That need to be put down.
And Also, This video is bias, because he used those pseudoscientific soures, why?
      Because pseudoscience means { a collection of beliefs or practices mistakenly regarded as being based on scientific method }
That's what Merciful Servant did, next time don't listen to stupid creationist because they will fool you and let you follow their stupid easily refutable beliefs.
Think before praising a pseudoscientific soure such a Merciful Servant.

We are talking about The majority of muslims who fast, not a single one who says [ oh look, I lost weight therefore your argument is invalid ] That is not a sufficient reasoning because the majority says otherwise, Also you've made a personal incredulity fallacy.
And I've clearly stated how Merciful Servant uses pseudoscientific soures to justify their ramadan and how great it is ( sorry, I ment how unhealthy it is )
And Also, ramadan changes your sleeping pattern, drinking pattern and eating pattern which it haves a negative impact on your body, one of which are sickness, nausea, dizziness, weight gain and headache.
And not eating for a couple of days is possible But not health because your body send signal to your brain to eat, and during ramadan muslims eat excessively, waste more food, and commit more crimes during ramadan.
Merciful Servant sounds pro islamic don't you think?

      Azogtic Metroskik
Hi, your opinion is interesting but I have a few questions. What is a Merciful Servant? And I don't completely understand what you mean by "justify their ramadan" we have no need to justify it, since it is clearly stated in the Quran and in many trusted references from the prophet..
Also Ramadan shouldn't necessarily change our sleeping pattern, since we're supposed to wake up to pray fajr anyway, and sleep after the last prayer (Isha'). If your sleeping pattern is bad, it's probably because of studies or wrong thinking patterns and behaviors within society. It's not supposed to affect you badly in that way :)
The "changing drinking pattern" argument is kind of invalid because it's a good rest for your body and stomach to cleanse itself of the whole other 11 months; getting rid of toxic things we eat (which are many these days) taking a rest from digestion all the time... etc.
I don't know much about the "brain signals you to eat" because I have not done enough research on the subject yet, being only 14 ;) but I can assure you Muslims do not commit more crimes during Ramadan, they fast not only from food and drink but also from bad thinking patterns, unwanted behavior and swearing... I have witnessed this every Ramadan where I grew up.
Lastly not all Muslims "eat excessively" in iftar, many including me just eat enough to fill you up so you can fast the next day. We also eat very healthy foods like tamr (dates) which the prophet encouraged to eat in Ramadan because of the many different nutrients. Good Muslims don't waste food, but give out what's left to charity.
Sorry this was so long, just a Muslim on my journey to learning all about my religion

      @@biski800
Oh, looks like someone knows how to write a long comment.
      What is Merciful Servant?
It's a muslim channel with over 1 million subscribers, and Sadly for them, some of their videos Got debunked by lots of critics and skeptics
I don't completely understand what do you mean by "justify their ramadan"
What I meant is That they use science to say, [ oh look, our religion is not outdated and it does not go against science ] which is Wrong to be honest, because 1) it goes against evolution which We know it is a fact, 2) it contains lots of scientific errors, one of them is mountains.
Since you're supposed to wake up, Oh Sorry, not alot of people go and pray "fajr", and of course you didn't get what I said, I said people will change their sleeping pattern so That they will not get hungry because of ramadan, and then after ramadan ends they change their sleeping pattern again which is harmful, and what is more harmful is repeating it every year, if you're studying you will know that sleeping late at night will not be healthy because you're studying scientific stuff and therefore you will know that you don't need to sleep late at night, But when We talk religious, it's different.
Wrong, abstaining from water is not healthy, because you're losing water every second, and There is nothing better than water for your body. Drinking less water slows down our digestive system creating problems for our stomach. We must drink plenty of water each day to keep our system healthy. When your urine is clear and odorless, its a sign you’re getting enough water. Drinking adequate amount of water is the first step to clean your stomach. Make sure to drink 8-10 glasses of water every day. That’s a minimum of 64 ounces.
And since you said That ["changing drinking pattern" argument is kind of invalid]
You didn't commit a strawman argument because you said *kind of* .
[ I don't Know about much about The "brain signals you to eat" ]
What? The brain receives signal from the body not the other way around, and what I meant by your body signals your brain to eat is That your fat cells produce a hormone called ghrelin, ghrelin increases your appetite and Let's you feel hungry, the more ghrelin is produced the more you eat, that's why muslims gain weight in ramadan because of ghrelin building up in their bodies.
[ But I assure you muslims don't commit crimes during ramadan ]
Invalid argument because you didn't bring proof, and then you might ask That I too didn't bring proof, Well... It's because Merciful Servant have disabled sharing links because they're scared of getting exposed for their pseudoscientific teachings because history taught them to disable sharing links because they Got exposed by multipul critics.
And did That taught you something?.
Speaking of eating excessively, most muslims do it because there was many report on those situation of muslims eating too excessively, just bacause your family doesn't eat excessively ( *which is Wrong considering the amount of hours you're facing, and depending on the location of where you live, it may varies from 11 hours to 20 hours of fasting in some places, and Also what about people who live in a place where the sun sets after six months, what about them? Will they fast six months or not fast?
What a double standard God you have* )
I tell you to not learn islam because it's a waste of time studying theological stuff That were debunked by science time and time again.
Once you start learning about sciency stuff and learn about evolution, You'll realise That all of what your taught about your religion is just a mere imagination of The human brain.
Your Friend the Agnostic Atheist, the irreligious guy.

Another thing I would advise to do brother. When you sleep you can, do so on your back with your lips gently rested together and the back of your tongue placed on your upper palate whilst breathing through your nose. The tongue posture opens your airway allowing you to breathe comfortably through the nose and preventing your mouth from drying out. If this was unclear, you can Google correct tongue posture.
Insha Allah you have a fruitful Ramadan

Thanks, I'm used to the tongue position you're talking about. I was talking about having a dried mouth when I woke up from a nap, mainly because my room is hot, and it gets hotter as the day goes on, therefore it's probably the culprit of such an outcome.
      Happy Ramadan!
