He have to be one of the coolest guys on earth.
Hell yeah
Seeing him healthy is probably the best thing.
@Anal Eyes Analyze Anal Lies There was a period he looked kind of haggard, a couple of years back or so. Also; pandemic.
@Anal Eyes Analyze Anal Lies well, i think it’s just that he’s a legend and quite a few legends have died in the past year (sean reinert and sean malone from Cynic, and LG Petrov from Entombed just to name a few).

Yeah he's like a 270 lb stout man buying toys and shit, lol it's awesome.

For someone who lives with severe depression almost everyday, it means a lot to hear George speak openly about his own issues with depression. Thank you, George.
I think you and corpse grinder along with most true death metalheads are part of the minority who know what REAL depression is. Hang in there
Death Metal absolutely has been beneficial while in some kind of psychological hell. Simply because DM is just straight up, real, no fancy fake display of itself, you get what you came for. It makes you feel understood by its nature alone.

This man deserves his happiness
He earned it in every way
Legend
Corpsegrinder is a good ambassador not only for death metal but for music in general. The misconception of metal as a whole is that it's evil and it makes people to doing evil things. If you're true to metal and have invested in the music and genre, you know that it's actually the opposite of what the stigma is. Metal is a release, it's an expression and to be honest one of the most artistic ways to create music. The life that surrounds Corpsegrinder is similar to many of those that are gods in metal. They have families and have love in their hearts. They understand how hurt someone can be and create this kind of music to absorb how much pain someone is in. Metal saves people. I hope Corpsegrinder makes himself more public because I think a lot of people can benefit from hearing his words on how to be kind and a good person and that it's ok to be you.
Sauron watching in the background. Awesome!
The great eye sees all!
That part towards the end about walking, going to Target, being alone being therapeutic etc... was genuinely interesting. He should start a (very) lowkey mental health thing.
Killer interview with the most down to earth and friendly deathmetal musician I met. Met Corpsegrinder the first time before a show in Gothenburg, Sweden - 2003. Amazing 🤘🤘🤘🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪 //Pat_Corpse

As a metal head with clinical depression & anxiety (as well as being a complete softie), I’m even more impressed with George after seeing this interview. It just goes to show how reaching into the darker parts to prevent them from consuming you is important.

Awesome interview! Thanks for this!
I love hearing George sharing his thoughts, quite reflective and beautiful really.

Corpsegrinder! 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥
I want to see Corpsegrinder on stage, during one of their craziest sets, building lego sets while singing. Imagine it 😂
At Target.
a song that incorporates stepping on a stray logo piece would be pretty metal.
George is such a wholesome guy, that alone is why he's one of the best vocalists out there.
didnt think all I needed during a bad, long period of depression was listening to George being the most genuine and nicest guy you can immagine. really warms my heart
Surprised O'Brian has just been quietly swept under the rug after being such a integral part of this band for roughly 2 decades.. I mean even just a explanation! Just crazy. I miss O'brian, his technique is alien.
They might not say anything about Pat out of respect for his case because he has a jury trial today, March 18th.
Pat isn't being swept under the rug. Pat has a lot on his plate with mental health and his legal issues which are will now prevent him from leaving the country and most likely his state.
The band has said that they support him and look forward to him being in the band again, George has talked about how sad it made him to see Pat in the suicide vest at his trial and yeah, Paul said no comment because they probably have no information right now.
Erik has filled in for the last few years and it just makes the most logical sense that he is made a permanent member of the band for the foreseeable future.
@@Chris-qv2vr How do you know his trial is today ?
They could be exploiting it for fame being that they just released a new album and such but they are doing the decent thing which is letting Pat deal with his stuff without making a fuss about it.
@@cortarelva Exploiting it for fame? I don't think you know Cannibal Corpse that well man.
This dude legit loves target 🤣
He needs to be in a commercial
I really love him, the appreciation he has towards his fans is great, there are other guys who don't give a shit but Cannibal Corpse members are not like that. I even started crying, I hope sometime I can see Cannibal Corpse live. It was moving to hear about his teacher too, he really seemed sentimental when talking about it.
Holy shit, this interview is one of my favorites all year. You have no idea how much of a hero this man has been for me since the early 2000's when I started to first listen to CC. Such a humble man for such a fucking legend \m/
It's always makes me happy knowing that singer from the most violent death metal band is one of the nicest guy ever. He love pop culture. He's like huge child but in a positive way. Enthusiastic about life and horror :D
Music has been one of my biggest “treatments” for my depression. I’ve been dealing with it for over a decade and guys like George and Mitch Lucker inspired me to start doing vocals. And I feel that about the masks. It’s almost weird being able to see other people’s faces. Im actually moving to FL next month because they’re more relaxed about things. Plus I fee like I can work on my music more out there with the house+land I bought. The covid thing doesn’t help with my depression and I hate being stuck inside with nowhere to go and nothing to do if im not at work. I need a fresh start.
U can!!! I really hope u can do the thing u want!!
Worlds biggest kid! He seems so nice!
absolutely loved that story that Corpsegrinder says at the end, with him and Rutan, Webster, and Barrett in the dressing room or whatever just yelling at each other, "THAT's HOW YOU FUCKIN' END A TOUR!!! YEA! " lol
I swear, that story got me a little teary eyed just picturing all these dudes at the point they are in their careers just loving what they do decades later, that's FUCKING METAL! \m/
He's such a cool dad. It's so cute how proud he is of his kids and how involved he is.
Its always great seeing George and hearing him talk the guy is always such a good dude.
George has to have some Italian in him, he talks with his hands 😆. Love this vid shows how down to earth he really is.

Corpsegrinder is a legend. Thank you for putting out yet another masterpiece album. Can't wait til release date!
Such an amazing interview! Major props to Frank for just letting Corpsegrinder talk at length at anytime so we could all hear the great stories he had to share. I hate it when interviewers never let their guests get more than a few words in before they fire off the next question. Again, amazing interview!
That wholesome shit we need for 2021. Lmao he said “whenever I hang up my neck” 😂. Seeing him get emotional talking about meeting fans, and younger fans especially got me emotional. What a good dude.

Absolutely wholesome. Loved this interview!
Sadly, I've only seen Cannibal Corpse live once (yet), but that kind of started it and anything after, just like this interview, just confirmed it... Corpsegrinder is probably one of the most likeable people on this planet
Immolation are truly one of the greats. I have my signed copy of Kingdom of conspiracy and it kicks ass.
The level of quality that they keep up is unbelievable, not to mention their live shows. Daaaamn!
Cannibal Corpse are at the top of my list of bands to see live once COVID has sufficiently diminished. I also hope George gets to bring his daughter to Japan on tour. What a rad dad & dude. I miss that windmill.
Seeing em live tomorrow 🤘
