100% those blades made the fan wobble because he didn't weigh them after painting and adjust for lighter ones by adding another light coat to the lighter blades to match the weight of the heavier blades. Been There Done That🤷♂️
Am I the only one thinking he should have removed the vehicle from the area before spray painting the ceiling fan??? I'd be worried about overspray...but maybe thats just me
Yes.. there was a white ceiling fan in the bedroom of the property I just bought. I don't care for white ceiling fans.. so a friend suggested that I spray paint it. I chose not to do that for the exact reason you mentioned. I figured the openings would get full of paint. I would up just going to HD and found a bronze Hampton Bay fan on sale for $64. Looks Great.
He did show it, he covered the top vents with tape. I have the exact same fan. I checked mine out, the openings that face the floor, there seems to be some sort of protective pad under the slots. I don't see in mechanical parts. Hope that helps.
After seeing the silver I now know not to use silver. Thank you!
Ended the video just before the fan got up to speed, why? Did the uneven weight of paint on the blades make it wobble?

Looks pretty good!
I disagree! He didn’t paint the top part that good.

Omg! I was having a heart attack watching that!
What you didn’t show was what I needed to know. How to protect the inside from paint. 😑

Can't I just newspaper the ceiling around my fan with tape and spray paint it without removing it? Or is that a stupid idea? Lol
exactly my thoughts
If you want it all one color, taping it off will take a while
The old paint was better...
Paint? Polished brass is a finish.... and it looks great if you're a grandma and haven't updated anything in your home since the late 70's early 80's.
Only issue is taking 4 hours to do this, when you can buy one for $50.
I don't work for $10/hr + materials....
Some of us are kids dude
I don't know what cheap fans you are talking about, because a decent ceiling fan does not start at $50. @LightGesture
