I'm predicting Firewatch will be my No.1 Game of 2016. Uncharted 4 or Mirror's Edge could overtake it, but Firewatch was one of the most unexpected and thrilling gaming experiences I've ever had. Sure the ending was somewhat disappointing, but I'm more into the journey, the destination is a bonus. Anyway, the was also some really neat references in there and I had to make a video on it, albeit a little late. Thanks for watching!

I got actually pretty freaking scared by this game, when I was playing it, and that extra clip in the end of the video was basically me when I was playing the game and got to that point.
Yes something about the feeling of being watched alone in the woods is super freaky. It probably didn't help I played through the whole game in one go at night with my lights off.

So Firewatch is one of the most unexpected and thrilling gaming experiences I've ever had. Slightly let down by a lacklustre ending, the journey there was still excellent. I actually think the ending was fitting for both characters, it just didn't hit me emotionally as I thought it might. I think it'll be a strong contender for my favourite game of 2016. Anyway, it has some really nice secrets and I had to make a video of it. Thanks for watching!

I know this video is five years old, but when the credits roll after the helicopter leaves, you’ll notice that there won’t be the pictures of henry, like there normally is, possibly meaning that you actually die in this ending

There is a duck on a lake in a game and the same duck is in a drawer in another game AND someone found it

+TweekTV is an easter egg because have a same texture? and unreachable? idk
It helps that there is another much more overt Gone Home reference in the game (oddly not in this video, one of the books you find is the novel published by the father in that game) and the duck (Christmas Duck!) is a bit of a mini meme in itself.
Gone Home is a famous walking sim game that inspired this one, and the duck is one of the first items you see in Gone Home, you have to move it to get a key so you can't miss it. Be it the games are in the same genre and both quite famous, it creates an audience overlap. Someone was bound to notice eventually.

Honestly I was waiting for this such an immersive beautiful game
It's a shame that the ending wasn't terribly great, but the game overall had this amazing feel that I haven't felt from many others. I still feel like the reason they ended it like they did was simply due to not having a big enough budget for more, so maybe we'll see more satisfying games in the future now that they've got some nice sales.
Not sure if you already mentioned this in another video, but the fictional book from Gone Home (The Accidental Savior) is in Firewatch as well.

This game was creepy and very emotional. I got attached to the characters and I was a little disappointed by the ending to but, I loved the creepiness of the game
That part at the end of the video also scared me a lot.

There is also an The Walking Dead S3 easter egg where Delilah talks about Javier and is death of his brother..which is referred to Javier and his brother David which was dead in th end of The Walking Dead S3

Another Easter egg is when you are hunting for whatever you come across a missing sign and the girl says "idiots always take it as a souvenir". At the end if you take a look around the girls tower, you can find the sign LOL
