Okay so I recently got a new camera and to practice working with it I wanted to film some test shoots, this is my first one.
The prompt for this video was simple, I set myself the challenge to film something within 2 days, all by myself, no reshoots, anything as long as it captures an emotion. (And with basically zero daylight bc don’t we all love winter :))
When I started it I wasn’t exactly sure what emotion I was going for but it quickly turned into this: me. What my life feels like most of the time. I gave it the title “I don’t know” bc that’s honestly how I would describe most of my feelings.
That’s all I’m gonna say to that, if I did it right, the video should convey the rest. :)
I know this is gonna flop real bad bc it’s no fanart but if you watch it, let me know your thoughts!! This is my first “original” video I share on here and I’m kinda nervous about it AHH

I am so so glad you decided to share this with the world because omg 😭. those shots where you picked up the book and then picked up your phone and kept scrolling and then faced the grey static….. it reminds me of that feeling when you can’t settle your mind to anything - you’re tired of your phone and tired of trying to escape real life but then you look at real life and it’s just… nothing and too much at the same time. also the glowing star globe shots are sTUNNING. thank you for this 🥹🫶

Ahhh you described it so well, yes that’s exactly what it feels like. the constant battle between wanting to escape and wanting to be present in your own life 🫠
THE STAR SHOTS ✨ I love that little lamp so much :,)
So a few seconds in the word 'Drifting' came to mind however 'Haze' followed soon until it completely overwhelmed and took over. By 1:40 with the traffic and static shots, I felt a sense of being overwhelmed by this world yet at the end with the shot you in your little corner I felt like it was being said that no matter how hard things get there's a place for you always. A small corner of the world that's yours.

The world seems so overwhelming most of the times but - you phrased it so beautifully - you always have that small corner in the universe that’s yours and that feels safe. That might be a place or a book or anything really 🫶
