This is Boston dominance, zero caveats. They wouldve ran it regardless. Kind of boring? Yeah I think so, but that's the way it goes sometimes. If a somewhat healthy (minus Randle) Knicks team could've made it wouldve made for a fun, maybe tougher series.
This take is genuinely awful lol the eastern conference might be a foregone conclusion at this point but the games are still solid and the celtics barely winning 2 of the 3 games proves that this whole "celtics are a foregone conclusion" argument wrong. Which of course it is because they have never won anything, they choked hard last year and we've seen them lose repeatedly late in the postseason for over half a decade now. Its put up or shut up time for the Celtics this year. Meanwhile, the west playoffs have been incredible even with a 3-0 lead in these finals. Would it be nice to see a 7 game series? Sure...but when elite guys like Kyrie and Luka play out of this world in the playoffs, its hard to beat them. What we are STILL seeing is high level basketball being played. Alot of you young fans dont have the experience to know what great basketball even looks like and barely even remember the terrible 2010s and dont remember any of the terrible 2000s playoffs. Then you really said "the bubble didnt have all the teams there" as if they need all the terrible teams there to play a handful of regular season games before they started the playoffs. If anything that made it harder because the worst teams werent there to give out easy Ws to the teams they play. Such a dumb take dude and its gonna age like milk, the league is entering a new golden age and this will largely be considered the start as we see these young teams finally starting to outshine Lebron and the KD-era stars. We havent seen this much young talent play at this high a level in the postseason since the 80s really.

nah youre right nba is boring as sht. dead game. just chucking 3s all day, essentially a 3 pt contest. only fun would have been if denver made it through, but silver decided he wanted to milk money and made it close and let timberwolves play illegal defense and hack denver all day. and denver not making their opens 3s caused the wolves to get through when silvers rigging ass just wanted a 7 game thriller with denver making it, which ended up with a boring trsh conf finals with the fluke of the wolves going through. dont even get me started on the Leastern conf.
