Socio-politics and also political-economics are discussions that easily exceed a 1 semester 3 credit course and in fact can be subjects of major study all the way into a doctoral degree and post-doctoral research and study. A comments section of CZcams is not a good format for those kinds of long discussions and debates. This 🤔 presents the dilemma of what example or what point I should figure out to pick to make. That is narratives and "framings" originating from secular sources who also deem themselves as much opponents to "religion" (they really mean Christianity in my opinion) as the story of Lucifer as the Devil being a perpetual enemy of Christ. The comparisons are 🤔 apt as those secular sources could be argued, within Catholic circles, to be the archetype of the Devil as the serpent 🐍 in the Garden of Eden who suckered Adam and Eve. So, most my life I was "pro-choice" abortion and believed in the biological Theory of Evolution 🧬. I never really questioned the latter at all until *IRONICALLY* when I was at UW-Milwaukee sitting in my biology labs and lectures (the 2 are separate classes, but together). I still believed in that grand tale at that time but it was the first time, using teachings or principles in science 🧪, that I started to recognize 🤔 logical problems. In fact it was only a few years ago, several years ago, that I finally nailed the coffin ⚰️ on that ridicules story called the Theory of Evolution and buried it in the ground with no ceremony and no grief. And who *really* came up with or inspired that story? Ah. Most would say Charles Darwin. Hmm... The contemporary always has some ties to the past if in no other way than an inspiration to break from the past. It's not by magic some Italian-Americans speak Italian and nearly all ethnic Black-Americans in the Northern states (descendants of Southern slaves) cook and eat from a Southern culinary tradition they somewhat ignorantly call "Soul Food." I submit to *really* understand today we must go back to the beginning. All the way back to the first humans. Adam and Eve. Good literature if one has ever studied on who to write ✍️ stories, SHOWS rather than explicity tells a reader something. The Bible uses both of those though. But the story of Adam and Eve shows us something. This is why female Catholics of either the Conservative or Traditionalist leaning, have on occasions said, "Adam was the first wimp." This is connected to a theology, MEN as both husbands and fathers, are in Catholic doctrine are the *Priests of their families.* They have authority over their wives and children, and if in a state of sanctifying grace have authority by God to cast out demons from their children and from out of their wives. Women as wives have no authority to cast out demons from their wives. God established laws in the universe including moral ones. And one ancient Christian way of interpreting the story of Adam and Eve is that God gave humans the right to eat from plants of every knowledge EXCEPT for one: the tree 🌲 of what is MORALLY right and what is morally wrong. To that alone belongs to God, and Christ as Head of His Church, the moral realm belongs to the His Church. Back when in the Light Ages, the State and Church cooperated, with the State leaving the moral realm to the Church, out of 365 days in a year well over a 100 days or roughly 50% of the year, men and women had time off from work. Equally important was that men, women, families had enough meat, food, good clothing to wear, money to spend on recreation, and they had shelter. That would have been around the 1200s and 1300s A.D. or maybe in the 1100s. To the Dark Ages would eventually come and we remain in that endarkenment today, epitomized by the apocalyptic prisons of Brazil and Venezuela, the orgasmic joy members of the US Congress get having successfully conspired to get 2 Slavic brothers to mass murder each other on the battlefield.
