Never saw the pkg. of onion soup mix added to the pot also. However, from past experience with another porkchop recipe in crockpot, I mix the can of mushroom soup with the dry onion soup in a separate bowl , stir well, and then pour the mixture on top of everything else. It will ccmbine in with the other ingredients as it cooks, along with stirring. May want to add a half to a cup of water if a thinner "gravy " is desired. Wonderful recipe for busy days, and usually serve with a nice loaf of fresh french bread, tomatoe and cucumber slices, or another fresh cool salad to balance the hot and the cold. Have made this many many times, and never fails to please.
