Strong work! Thank you for sharing your awesome experience!
Thanks for watching!
Some straight up facts here... always go in with a solid plan and shot list! It's probably the one thing that separates most creatives from becoming professionals
The images turned out so good!!!! Loving this BTS content and learning about what you were going through during the process! Vibe was 👌
Thank you so much!!! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed watching it and I can’t wait to share more bts with footage of me shooting or modelling etc. thank you for watching! Xx
It's really cool seeing your entire process of this shoot! Look forward to seeing you grow further with your endeavors!
I've never really shot on film, but as a DP I'm quite keen to get the same result with digital raw files. If you want to switch? It should be remembered that there are many advantages such as for example it is free and easier to see immediately, Companies like Arri had the same journey and we still love that look (now that most films are shot on Arrie Alexa's) If you miss real film (which by the way can't buy more unfortunately) So consider trying Magic Lanterns together with Phantom Luts they are made from five real film stocks and are super good. I think you will also find tools like focus peeking -false colors - dual iso - hdr video - with more interest? Happy shooting.
Amazing job Lucy! Your photography style is such an inspiration to me. I'd love to see your edit process (if any), workflow, culling, editing style/techniques, sending off images to client.
How awesome!! Love hearing about your process for this. It’s so gratifying when the planning and vision all come together. Such a cool campaign too, amazing!✨
Thank you lovely lady!!

Love hearing about all the steps your taking in your shoot. Those last shots are killer.
So inspiring! The pics look so good!
Absolutely awesome video Lucy! You provided sooooooo many incredible tips and outlining your process step by step was extremely informative and easy to digest. Congrats on pushing yourself and accomplishing something that scared you, the results are fire! 💥🤟
Lovely photos. Overtime you will not stress so much and over plan. I would never want to go back to the beginning of my Photography career. It was full on 😅
🔥
Great work Lucy. Diving in at the deep end and having the confidence to take on paid work is the hardest step to take, I'd say you've nailed it. Softbox shots are banging, awesome vibe.
Wow awesome Lucy. I have my second paid shoot today as well.
Thanks Anthony! Oh my god that’s amazing well done! Go you!
Don't sell yourself short, Lucy. You are an amazing photographer, own it!!😊😊 And, you're going to be even better in the future. Little tip for getting over the jitters first up...don't over think the process. Just go with what you've got and if the first lot of pics aren't the best, don't sweat it. Things will get better as you get into it😊 You've done you planning, go with it but be flexible enough when unexpected things pop up. You know your stuff well enough to be able to think on your feet😊 You're doing well!!
Wow this sounds like such an intense but fun project! Doing an important project on film sounds like a such a challenging task. The shots in the end are definitely some of the best. Probably the spontaneity was also more with less pressure as most of key photos were taken.
Woah, you used a Rebel G for this!? Amazing! I have 2 of these and i absolutely love them. When you use the onboard flash, do you use manual mode or auto? I lean towards auto when I use the flash but I'd be curious to hear if you have any tips for using the camera's flash with manual mode.
Great work on this campaign, Lucy!!
Cool! Was the flash from the point and shoot cams strong enough? 5 shirts sounds like a dream. My usual product shoots for clothing companies consist of 60-100 outfits with 4-5 models. Really liked the film look on these.
So cool. You hit every aspect of a shoot. Just out of curiosity how did you take the photos? Tripod and timer?
How many rolls of film did you end up using?
