    Good Morning Casey, I love all your blends in your containers! They are different than most I see, more free flowing and unique. Also you look very pretty today with natural hair and make-up! I think it's your best look ! Thank you for sharing your talents!

    I think your window boxes are some the most beautiful I have ever seen, so creative. I had aphids one time on my spirea bushes and I was able to get rid of them by hosing off the plants.

    Almost all my coleus are still small this year. I pinched them at planting time and even successfully rooted the pinched off parts. It’s finally starting to get hot and so hopefully they will start popping up!

      mine started growing in the heat, some of mine had a slower start as well. I had a thrip problem which is a bad bug. They stunt the growth. So we had to spray for them.

    Casey, did you see that stag beetle open up its mandible when you tapped the glass with your finger? I hope the girls do not get daring and try to pick it up.
    Thanks for the pinching instructions!! Love the garden and how beautiful the kids science house turned out.

      anything we show in our raised beds, can definitely be grown in containers since raise beds are a form of a container. Just always make sure that you use a container that has a lot of space for roots to grow when growing food.❤️❤️ thank you so much for taking the time to watch!

    Hi! New viewer. Your plants and arrangements are beautiful. I have several questions. What do you fertilize your coleus with? I read that it should not be but I think mine needs some help. Also, my (zahara) zinnia have crispy brown leaves but also has new growth. Do you know how to resolve that? Could it just be heat? It's been >90 for a few months. I'm in zone 8a. Finally, is the plant that you called setcreasea a pink type of wandering jew plant? I have only seen purple where I live. Thanks!

    Can you tell me if you deadhead metor verbena or leave the spent heads be?

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  Před 4 lety

      Yes I do. Helps promote more growth than flowers! When the flower is spent, I follow it down all the way down the stem to where it meets the plant and then clip.

    Pinching bug we called them. Do t like them at all. As a child had two attach to my toes as I was playing in a neighbors sand box. I screamed!!! They fly also and buzz against your window screens. Have hated them for years.
