- Welcome to Eastbourne, the UK’s answer to the Costa Del Sol ☀️
With almost 1900 hours of sunshine every year, Eastbourne is the (slightly disputed) sunniest town in Britain. But whether its the sunniest or not, the town is at the heart of England’s sunshine coast and offers a unique blend of British seaside town and Mediterranean resort that you dont get in most UK towns!
Eastbourne also serves as a gateway to some of the UK’s iconic coastline including the highest cliffs in the UK from Beachy Head and round to the Seven Sisters. Of course we cant resist exploring these huge white chalk landmarks - even in spite of the tropical weather 🥵
📍Recorded June 2023 in Eastbourne, East Sussex

What a great vlog and Such a beautiful area! Those cliffs and the cute little lighthouse is stunning. You guys are amazing and yes 🔥!! Take care Debbie!
For anyone who is not so fit, you can take a bus to the top of Beachy Head from Eastbourne.
Good great mates lovely eastboune
What a lovely walking tour! I like Eastbourne! (Thanks for inserting prices. We're travelling to Britain very soon, and I already see it isnt't going to be cheap!) Great video!
A lot of people suggested the prices so glad you liked that 😊 hope you have a great trip when you arrive !
Love Eastbourne, has such a nice vibe! ❤
Definitely 😍😊
I love Eastbourne! It’s such a beautiful place, it’s stuck in the past a bit but modern at the same time! Near by at cuckmere haven, looking towards Seven Sisters is iconic and beautiful too (can I use the word beautiful enough times in a comment 😂)
It really is stunning. We must get back to see the Seven Sisters at some point!
it reminds me a little of new port beach! some modern buildings mixed with old ones!
I'd like to know what is your fav Place in UK ? What place did you guys visit and like the most ?
Definitely Cornwall!
4 quid for a 99! What has this world come too. :)
Reminds me of Northeast coast US. With same price tag.
Omg that fish supper looked just lovely.
You all do love your hills.
I remember when they was 99! Those was the days 😂
Hi guys wow thanks for showing me more of Eastbourne and beachy head brilliant views I had a date in Eastbourne back in 2005; and had a naughty snog by Devonshire park where the tennis will be tomorrow and next week
Haha the memories 😂 it’s a beautiful place though, can’t believe we had never been before!
I did wonder at the beginning if you knew about the road train? Eastbourne is nice, never walked as far as you 2 but have had a fair old hike in earlier times. £4 for an ice cream and the fish and chips were expensive but looked delicious. Great vlog and I kind of feel I walked to Seven Sisters with you both.😉😉
It was definitely a hike but well worth it and that road train was a welcome sit down going back the other way! The fish & chips is actually cheaper than we have seen in many other places but like everything the prices are only going one way! ⬆️
If I’d known you were going to Eastbourne I would’ve recommended a really nice cake shop to try...the incredible cake company. Just means you will have to go back sometime I guess 😘
Good excuse to go back 😍😂
Good vid. Lot's to do in Eastbourne.
Thanks for watching 😊
My British friends, don’t let your country fall
Beachy Head , looks like the cliffs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang , do either of you lads know , if they are in deed ? ❤
According to the internet Beachy Head is indeed the cliffs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. You learn something new every day!
great food
That baguette 😍
Hmmmm youd think the sunniest place in the UK would be around Falmouth .. Where i live we get around 2,600 hrs of sunshine per yr .. The US average is 205 days
Too much of an influence from the Atlantic, especially during winter when the rain storms roll in!
That fish & chip shop isn't great.
