Up until now, I still don’t know what’s the reason behind those people wearing shaded sunglasses whilst watching a show. I mean how could they appreciate the color?
It’s hypocrisy like most fashion is at the high-end spectrum. Just there to “look” good with no real purpose.

I find it interesting how "plus size" mens models have not yet found there way into Runway or most editorial but no one has a problem with it.
I don't think they ever will. The male designer fashion industry does not view plus sized males the same way the fashion industry views plus sized females.

@@froeloe It could be because high fashion is still primarily a female-dominated business. It's one of the few professions where the women stand to earn more than their male counterparts. There is more psycho-social investment in how the female body is portrayed that in that of the male. However, from a practical POV I stopped being able to shop at JCrew when its design team embraced the flat-front, skinny-suit aesthetic. Even in JCrew's "loose" fit, the clothes still do not fit well or have as large a range as the "trim" fit that is their main male fashion silhouette.

Wow! Sophisticated and refined. I enjoyed it. I liked the Arab and African inspired looks as they are undisputedly masculine. I didn't gravitate toward the black pieces like I thought I would and had a love/hate for the corsage. There was a Pimp Daddy or two but was intrigued by the following whites pieces. You will always get me with greys and the stripes. I saw only one brown but it might be my favorite. Several killer coats and jackets.

Easily one of the best shows this season! Breathable wear, tons of cool luxurious basics, ready for mixing n matching…sexy, masculine, wearable, very low on gimmicky “for show only” items. We are in a struggling economy so these multiple wear clothes are never under appreciated.

Because the focus should be on the clothes, not on the personality or looks of the models. Also, to give that “attitude” vibe. It’s ridiculous, if i’m being honest. i don’t like seeing cranky-looking soulless models. It doesn’t make me wanna buy the clothes.

D&G bowing to the current over-scaled proportions, alongside their more successful super- tailored cuts. Some looks seem to reference early Rick Owens. In any case it appears they're trying to mix it up a bit. I guess the lean beef is their version of plus-sized models?? Well, at least some of the models are eating well. There was famine at Saint Laurent.

Because it gives a more "unapproachable, I'm better than you vibe", that's a very common practice in fashion, it gives what their wearing a more exclusive feel.

The models gave us a cold show. Also, when Kit Butler opens, things can't really improve. A couple of standout moments, but not many for me. Too much stuff for the Tokyo and Shanghai customer but I guess that's a huge market now.
