Man those repeated crashes at 4:17 must've been agonizing. Looking at how it reacted when it got air time, I can't shake the feeling that aerodynamics played a roll. Maybe they should make a V2 of this casting to improve the airflow of the the blocky GoPro.
That would be smart. I actually added tape "ears" to the top of the RunCam since it kept pitching forward after takeoff. The air resistance helped slow down the rotation. Maybe fins would help as well!

I’ve gotten a little lazy with my jumps…or maybe it’s just the lack of time...but I’ve just started filming the take offs and then filming the landings in reverse. Total cheating in the “Unofficial rules of Hot Wheels Jumps” that some viewers have. 😂

very nice video. we are building also hot wheels tracks. but what type of booster are u using? we see a yellow booster. the boosters we have the gopro zoom in does not fit. or did you make some mods to the car?
In this video I cut every time the car goes through a booster. Granted it's an older booster from the 90s so the car does kind of jostle through it, but it really doesn't propel it.

Hey just a little advice from someone who used to jump motor-x and BMX when you got a long jump I can see the Angle of your landing ramp is too high - I would try making your landing ramp with less of arc and a landing table - might be easier awesome videos I just love thee things
A wider landing ramp is a good idea, though some viewers complain that it's too "easy" for the car to land on. You're right that I could extend the downward sloped part of the ramp
