Thats skill, trust me I have been cut from a Gypsy with a 10 cm cardboard cutter, I wish my doc did this sort of job, I would had no scar to remind me of the trauma, but than again the Gypsy striked me on the neck so they had to be fast.

I had this done on me but didn't know it. I was really confused where there was a single random piece of thread sticking out of my body like a quarter inch away from my incision.

That was probably an accident. If it's not cut off below skin level, it can introduce an infection.

Most skin sutures absorb and disappear over time so no need for removal.😊

This type of closure is done with absorbable suture. Nothing to remove.
