My paternal Grandmother's parents emigrated from the Vasa region. They were Swede Finns. I hope to be able to visit Vasa in the next couple of years.

What a nice walk! Vaasa is very beautiful city and the 15th largest. That's why we can say now you've been technically in top 15 largest cities! Just for Tampere( you've been in Pispala), Jyvaskylä(The water scooter driving video) and Pori( Noormarkku Works, Villa Mairea) still not in the city centre.

Anw, how is the whether and some activities in Vassa actually now? Can you desbribe it more on ur next video. Thanks so much!

Great video great show. Ok, Vasa may be ok but where are all the people ? Looks very boring to me. Ok, I crew up in Vasa then back in the 60sh when that town was great. Even there those red Ludwig drums that you can see there being placed at that staged in front of Fondis ok, those drums are my old drums that my dad bought for me as a Christmas present way back then in 1968. That band there now who is playing is my old friends going back ti the -70sh. I left Vasa Finland way back in 1979 when I moved to California so ok, life goes on as long as we live so let's make the best of it. That Mexican senorita that artista Frida wrote like VIVA LA VIDA and was she right so live and let live life and enjoy. TCB an old timer from Vasa back then when Vasa was good. Adjos and Hola and even Aloha !

Was great to read about your memories of Vasa. Must have been quite different back then. During this walk it wasn't the most busiest hours it seems though I have to say it was only my second time visiting the city.

@@mariovillegas9920 Still I can say that I liked my two visits there. It is the 15th largest city in Finland, so not biggest or the smallest. Less than 70 thousand people living there. Vaasa being a coastal city is a big plus.
