Which edition would you buy?
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.
Avatar: The Way of Water's plot will be a fully-encapsulated, standalone narrative, as will the other sequels, but will also be part of a meta-narrative that extends across Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

Which edition would you buy?
just basic or maybe with the dlc's (i am guessing that will be cheaper in the long term over buying the dlc's separate later)

I bet some water tribe will be a dlc expansion. I can see them just ripping stuff from Avatar 2 and putting it into the game.
@@erenjeager5290 it makes sense if they do it as a DLC after all this is in the western frontier not the original pandora so maybe different tribes will be in some DLCS?

I almost never buy Collector’s Editions, but I definitely made an exception for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora! I’m dummy hyped for this game! 🎉
I find it hilarious that there releasing 3 versions of the game granted their mostly
Just skins but to put in "added content" day 1... this is what dlc is ment for, later content... so basically if you want to play the full current game you have to pay an arm and a leg $140+. Now the "cheap" version *cough* $100. Gets you 3/4 of the content thats available and already created so "not a complete" version of a completed game. This sales tactic really needs to stop. If all the content is there at release of the full game, dont split portions of the campainge into money purchesable segments. Imagine if this was the pactice with our old games from way back when. Examples: mario kart 64, game at lauch has everything in ot, some hidden things to unlock but its all their. Skip to 2023. Mario kart 64, gets game for $100 but has to spend an extra $40 to play rainbow road and get toad as a playable character..... or legend of dragoon, 4 discs long. Bet ya now in 2023 that would be sold as 4 parts at $100+ a disc 🤦♂️

The PlayStation blog describes a collectors edition with Steelbook, statue and other stuff but I haven’t seen anything about it outside of that

This games looks great, but for an avatar game to be filled with micro transactions feels… ironic.

I do not believe it will since this will be on newer gaming sets (whatever its called) and Idk if steam deck is new? if it is I believe they'll try

Do NOT preorder from Ubisoft. They have proven their lack of care for their customers and communities over decades.
There's a high likelihood that this game will flop on release.
I love Avatar and hope the game is great, but knowing Ubisoft, they WILL find a way to fuck it up. A season pass for a single player/co-op game is a great way to start. Wish they gave this game to nearly any other studio.

You didn't talk about the collector's edition
So far, pretty happy with the game. Wish we got to see more raw gameplay showing off different mechanics (hoping to see some of that in a few months), but I at least hope that we can choose between a male or female character even if there is no in-depth character customization for physical features.

I still have a PS4, so I kind of feel like a Peasant. I'm only 14 and getting a PS5 isn't on my parents to do list.
Don't worry about it you'll get one eventually. You won't be part of the initial hype BUT you can see what other people think of this game (and other next gen exclusives) before getting caught up in the hype only to be disappointed.
Looks like a Reskin of Far Cry 6 but I'm down for that. 130$ is pretty steep though

How is it ? I've wanted to buy the ultimate pack but I've heard it's not worth it because everything you get in the pack, you can earn in game ?
Because in September its gonna be my first time working and getting a salary i think i will get the ultimate edition with the money i will save.

I got a special edition and I have two cosmetic packs and a card that has no code on it the card says Season pass I think that the two cosmetic packs are the season pass but I’m a bit stuck here

It says the prices $69.99 $109.99 $129.99 on here, but when I look online it says $89.99 $149.99 $169.99 on Playstation. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm going for the Ultimate Edition. I know it's the most expensive but I would rather have everything than potentially losing it later. I did the same thing when I prebought Hogwarts Legacy, prebought with the Dark Arts pack because why not? I'm just still hoping there's character customization regarding gender; I prefer to play males in a lot of games so I would like to have that choice available to me.

Disappointed 😒 I’ll buy on one condition the two leaked images look good but the others look like some concept art it feels weird because some screenshots look so real and good and others just bad rendering

My guess I will play the main game for a month or so and if I wanna join any competitive play, I will pick up the other junk at that time. My guess is most people will play the main game, enjoy the story and walk away. If you are looking for Far Cry with a new skin and new things to do. Spending an extra 30-50 bucks is your thing. Not mine! =-) Ty for the video so I could understand this better.
