How to shape text in Canva

In this tutorial I'll show you how to shape text in Canva. You can create any shape you want with your text and you can do it all within Canva. You do not need any outside apps or programs to shape your text in Canva. This is also a free feature so you won't need Canva Pro for this one.

The issue I’m having with my designs is cursive and handwriting fonts. A lot of handwriting does not look bad slanted - most people’s natural handwriting slants to the left or right. That’s what I want to simulate. Most of the handwritten/cursive/calligraphy fonts on Canva are straight up and down and I’ve been looking for months for a way to slant them left/right. Every online tutorial I’ve found is either limited on usable fonts or refers to the rotating or curving tools as slant.
