Can't believe this is the last song with the full 5 members. The Book of Us brings every emotion and feeling with quality songs. It's a shame that I'll never have the chance to see Zombies and You Make Me on stage, but the current situation is the best for the time being, for each of the member to rest and focus on themselves, do the things that they want. I hope for a better future, one day that I can see all 5 of them performing these songs again. Cheers!

2:39 Jae's part has been on repeat it's sooo good he made me really love the chorus. I know day6 but decided to listen to all their albums from oldest to newest since two weeks ago because of 'Days gone by' and 'Time of our life' and I always find myself waiting for jae and sungjin's lines. Somehow their voices are soothing me. I guess it's Jae's special tone and sungjin's raspiness. How they sing their parts both pierces thru my heart. Currently listening to this album then one more to go
I found that in the faster tracks / in the beginning of the Negentropy album, Wonpil and Young K's voices shine but when we get to the latter half of the album and the slower tracks, Jae and Sungjin shine with their impassioned vocals.

Guys, I have a theory that probably makes sense
so basically, the wound the guy has is just a representation of his internal pain, in the start we see him running, and it's like he's running away from his problems instead of solving them, he struggles in life and tries to hide it from the people around him, and specifically as we can see in the mv, from his significant other, we see that hiding his pain from her makes him feel even worse and he feels like he can't make it anymore
But then the girl notices that he's internally suffering and her knowing is making him feel a bit better as she's trying to give him strength, we can even see that a band-aid appears on his wound which represents one of the first steps of the recovery, we see that he slowly gets better and at the end he's completely healed
the mv is like a huge metaphor, it shows that talking about your problems to the ones you trust and love can save you

My theory about this mv, this is pure my opinion :
The girl is actually already dead. The boy got injuried and make him near to his death. When the boy meet the girl in alley is all just his hallucinations. And after that the driving scene is the happy memory from his mind. Bc if you already near to death all of your memory will be passing in you mind. And when the boy really hurting and stop in gas station this is actually his death time. And then the beach scene with the girl footstep is when the girl picking up him. Bc beach can be mean as boundary between earth and heaven. And after that in gas station the boy look at his wound and he look confused bc he doesn’t feel the pain again. And after that the two of them can life happily in another world, dancing in the beach while watching the sunset 🌅
I guess the gas station is symbolic too. Like, we go to gas station when our car runs out of gas, like the boy is running out of life. I might be wrong.
This theory somehow seems more possible than the one where the boy dies first and the girl follows him

Words can't express how much Day6 songs really means to me. I was never an avid stan but their songs were so comforting and were there to help me through the hardest days of my life. Their releases also coincided with the stages my life was going through. I got into them when I had my first heartbreak, their songs gut-wretchingly expressed how I felt when I couldn't. When Zombie and When The Sea Sleeps were released I was deeply depressed and burnt out and it gave me so much comfort. You Make Me was released when I finally found the love of my life that I am still currently with. I hope in the near future they can continue making music together again. Their songs were so powerful and meaningful. It's like they have a song for every stage of life you were going through. I know I wasn't the only one who was helped through their music.

Hey day6, sungjin, jae, brian, wonpil, dowoon, I miss you guys and will always waiting 'till whenever it is ..
I feel bad for the people who haven't heard this masterpiece.
My theory: DAY6 are basically saying thanks for staying by us.
As you know, DAY6 went on a hiatus last year to prioritise the members’ mental health. Zombie was a song that talked about feeling worthless and lifeless like a Zombie.
Then with Even of Day, Where the sea sleeps shows KangWonDo on a journey to where the sea sleeps, trying to find their way back to Park Bros. If you see the concept films, KangWonDo are facing right while Park Bros are facing left.
At the start of the MV they’re all together, watching the couple being happy together. This represents My Day and DAY6 (altogether reunited).
The lyrics at the start talk about having just enough strength as if teetering off the edge, this is when the injured guy comes walking in. “Without you I wouldn’t be here (the guy waves to the girl - DAY6 and My Day) look at me I’m holding on” (the guy hugs the girl without making her worry)
“One step at a time” Sungjin sings, and then the couple are in the car. Then after this Wonpil sings “don’t let go because you are my last ray of hope” (the guy is worrying that the girl will leave him because of his weakness). He starts to give in and shows his weakness to her. But the girl doesn’t care about that, her frantically trying to wake him up shows that she cares about him no matter what. When he passes out he sees where the sea sleeps (hope) and then her face and he smiles. He knows that she’ll accept him.
We represent the girl and the guy represents DAY6. We’ll be there for each other. We’re each other’s strengths, and hope. ‘Every ending is a beginning’ we just have to trust in DAY6, and they will trust us too. The end of a beautiful era.
