This shoe is the perfect daily trainer for me. I have it paired with the Mizuno Neovista for when I want to go for a fun long run

    Another 150€ slow shoe.
I will keep enjoying my 22€ Adios 6 as daily runner and 57€ Takumi Sen 8 as fast shoe. Also, just got Adizero SL for 30. Probably also will be good shoe for easy days.

Adidas really steping up the game this year

Shoe arrived yesterday and also picked up the NB revel v4 mainly for the colourway in blue lol… I’m not convinced the hype of the rebel v4 is warranted, upper is poor, geometry feels flat and just a little odd and does not roll forward like expected watching lots of reviews. The prima however is quite a surprise, fit is great, roll from heel to toe is nice and smooth and roll off the toe is also nice, midsole may not be super soft like Nike invincible 3 but is plenty cushioned, overall I nice shoe for daily and goes well with my Boston’s 12’s which are my tempo and interval shoes and adios pro 3 for race day, Prima sort of reminds me of my gel nimbus 25 but with more of a roll off the toe. Laces good, tongue great, comfort 1st foot in feel great, midsole really nice for daily easy to steady miles 🎉

I have the rebel v4 and thought the same but after around 40km they definitely got a lot better and we're more comfortable with good propulsion

These companies are so out of touch with reality. £150 becoming the norm for a fairly basic running shoe is obscene. Hard pass for that reason alone.

      Or:
They’ve done their homework and market research has clearly shown that customers are willing to pay that kind of a price to get a premium pair of soft and comfortable running shoes.

Shoes will always be on sale. You are only paying for impatience.

    • @crazyjds

The fact that they rarely or never put the prime x on sale gave them the motivation to offer a product to match the 1080/$160+ market

@@grantmckay7014 I never find my size when those sales hit. I find the shoes only go on sale to get rid of the stock that won't sell like very small or very large sizes.

what adidas line up can be used for tempo, slow and with cushion and for long run? is this better than Nike Pegasus 41?

    • @francispyatt5201
      @francispyatt5201 Před 3 měsíci +3

Most shoes are better than the pegs!
This for recovery, either adizero SL or Boston 12 for tempo, and either this or the Bostons for long runs.

    • @jamesbilsbury9443

Pegasus are not great in my opinion. I just tried these today with the Boston 12s and they felt great. I preferred these over the Boston's. I would say these compare very closely to the novablast 4s from Asics which I also enjoyed.

Why this shoe? Adidas going crazy with their models. It’s overpriced anyway. I buy my daily trainers when they go on sale $110 and lower.

And Adistar 3 with the BYD version. And I'm waiting to see if Adidas will launch the 7th version of my most beloved Adidas shoes of the last years: SolarGlide ! This time with Boost Light.
The SolarGlide 5&6 , for me, was the best cushioning shoes of the past 4 years. Better them Ultraboost, Invincible, Vomero, Wave Sky, Structure, ON Eclipse, 1080 ,etc.
For now I'm not convinced that either the SuperNova or Adistar lines can replace the best cushioning shoes Adidas has ever made : SolarGlide .
