There used to be a great sub shop called Queens just east of E st. on the south side of Highland ave. I've never found one that tasted as good and what they could make. Baker Bros. was a favorite a little further along west of E st. also on teh south side. I believe it is still there.
Oh boy do I know that intersection! This is tragic to me how San Bernardino has become so run down and uninhabitable. I was born at St. Bernarden's hospital. I was raised in the Del Rosa area and went to Pacfic High School. I left there via the Air Force in 1980. You couldn't pay me enough to move back to California. Nice Job Govenor Newscumb! You destroyed the most beautiful State in the country!
Must be Perris Hill Park on the left. I can remember spending all day and a couple hours at night at the plunge I think for $.65. I see that they have made the pool smaller and removed the high dive they used to have at the deep end.
Ontario 4th and Grove Grove and Holt and Euclid are good streets I know you can find some homeless my house is in Ontario my grandma's house on between d Street and Holt the side streets are Alma and OCTA not the normal called Little Mexico there's a lot of homeless there too!
the downtown city building holds tons of people not doing anything to beautify san bernardino. lets hire more people for the city so the money you get from taxes wont be enough to fix the city or the streets,,,, how sad they get money from the Indians if it wasnt for the Indians we would be screwed.
For all the money the State of California collects, you would think that they could find a fix for the homeless situation. I know there are some that prefer that life style but at least offer those who want to get out of that situation a way to do so. It seems all the money is spent on things that do not provide any real benefit to the people of the State. Like maybe use all that gas tax money and the extra gas tax money that got voted in to fix a few pot holes??
