Worth it, I'm glad that they brought back the Extra Bass button now called the ULT button.

I always liked your style. My daughter has my Sony Hear On 3. But idk what she's been doing to them. Ive repaired them now 4X. They're wired together with electrical tape. They still work 100% and no issues with performance. She has a bday in Aug and the plan is to buy her new Sony headphones. She's now a Sony homer. Lol. This review helps me narrow my choices. These look like a solid banger. I have the XM5s and they are bass light no matter what you do with the bass boost slider in the Sony app. If this set delivers in the bass with the old XM4s foldable design, Sony will have a hot selling winner on there hands.

I've been so looking forward to SONY's new small speakers. And they finally gave them proper names!!. I love the way the SONY logo changes colour in the light :)

I was disappointed by XB-910's for lacking bass than my previous xb950n1. If it sounds like graph in ult 2 mode, i will definitely buy it❤. Need something that massage my head. I do own crusher evo & HS60 haptic though.
I've been using my Crusher Evo for the past 3.5 years. It still works fine. All good with a new ear pad. The battery is magnificent.
The simulated bass of Crusher is too much. Hence I'm using my own EQ curve in Poweramp EQ, further with keeping the Crusher bass slider at 15%.
And I hate the sound staging of Crusher Evo. I don't feel the staging is decent in Crusher.
But recently I started noticing this ULT, XM4 and XM5. Now I'm curious to know the bass difference between both.
I actually don't know if I'm missing out any overall better sounding headphones with decent bass as I haven't looked for an alternative all these 3.5 years with my Crusher Evo.
Please keep us updated if you use these for travel, looking into some for that reason
I'm currently deciding between the JBL Live 770NC, and Sony ULT Wear. They're the same price, but the JBL headphones have longer battery life along with Bluetooth 5.3.

Xm4 is overall more balanced. If you prefer hip.hop, electro, heavy metal.. the new here are better. Hearing Ramstein on them is crazy 😅

How do they sound compared to the SkullCandy Crusher Evo's ? I'd ask how do they compare to the Crusher ANC 2's but those are nowhere near as good as the Evo's, hook the Evo's up to a DAC and you're welcome, I generally use a combo between 3 Dacs, Rap/HipHop/R&B I use mostly Syba Sabaj ESS Dual DAC or the Audirect Atom 3 which is a single ESS Dac which of course uses less power, then there's Rock/Hard Rock/Metal I use a MoonDrop Dawn 4.4mm with a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter to get the 4vrms power out of it, now very recently MoonDrop has released a HiFi Audio Android Cellphone that I would love to try, waiting for global release
Update I got the MoonDrop MIAD 01 and it is amazing, best audio phone I know to have been created for audio, nothing compares to it, literally, Dual Dac setup, simply amazing, now yes I know it's running Android 13 but they've been releasing updates that just strengthen what it can do overall, I literally now listen to music all the time, sometimes for 14 hours straight
ULT2 ..... My cousin's Car Subwoofer ... LOL! .. damn man.. that's too much bass , but it do what it does best so , its a success .. if I were to buy this I might rock with ULT1

I have about 10 headphones and I use the QC 45 the most. They are the most comfortable and easy to use. I love them.

Does this work with the PS 5 as well with the BT ?
PS5 doesn’t accept regular Bluetooth, only WiFi/Playstation Link via USB dongle.
Or USB headphones, or connected on the controller

Here is a selection that I owned in the past that are compatible with the PS5. I’ve separated in price tiers (USD) for you to research about:
- $99 : Sony Pulse 3D
- $150 : Sony H5
- $250 : Sony H9 ( This one has ambient noise canceling. Also has dual audio, you can pick up calls while playing)
If you like bass, the Sony H5 and H9 are the ones to go. The Pulse 3D is a very entry headphone, but get the job done.
There is a new Sony Pulse Elite, more focused on sound accuracy and less on bass.

я старый поклонник Sony , но по поводу качества воспроизведения музыки у них у всех одна проблема - басы шикарные ,но они перекрывают средние частоты ,причем иногда очень существенно. А это большой минус если Вы слушаете кроме Rock , Deep House , techno что либо еще....под настроение я часто слушаю разные стили музыки и если сильно перекрываются средние , то наслаждения просто нет....я предпочитаю более универсальные "всеядные" наушники.....Focal Bathys Dune - уже ношу пол года....качеством звука более чем доволен....из Bluetooth наушников , думаю , это одни из самых "всеядных" и лучшие по качеству звучания. Хотя это лично мое мнение ,а предпочтения в качестве у каждого сугубо индивидуальное. Да....и у Sony еще большой минус - сенсорное управление.....при температуре ниже 0 сенсоры часто глючат , это очень раздражает. Предпочтение отдаю кнопочному управлению.

No they don't. I got both too. The crusher anc2 have tooooo much bass I can't use them without Tidal to tone them down and bring out some clarity. With the Ult I can hear more details and the bass rumble is amazing with proper EQ. They are excellent bass headphones outside the gym. In the gym I'd probably get the crushers for the motivation
Those cans are huge. I would be embarrassed to be seen wearing them, especially with the rainbow 🌈 logo. I wanted to get a pair of fun headphones to use when I am recharging my jbl tour one m2 s, so I guess I will have to get the skullcandy crushers.
