It is a ridiculously awesome scent I agree... you find that you cannot stop taking whiffs..... however !.... I find that even more ridiculously awesomeness is to get all four of the desert gems collection, plus portrait of a lady, plus une rose, plus rose & cuir, plus Louis Vuitton fleur du desert and les sable rose..... and then mix and match any of these together and voila !! You’ve got a whole new world of rose opening up. They all seem to go hand in hand with each other. A personal favourite of mine is one spray of Dawn, then next to (not on top of) next to ! A spray of LV Fleur du desert, then next to that a spray of the night....... yummy !
.... quite expensive though..... but very yummy

How do you apply fragrances for best performance?

It really depends on intended use and carrier base. Given that most of my perfumes are alcohol based, I prefer to spray them on a skin area that is not exposed; as alcohol is a stringent and ruins skin over time. My preference is the clavicle area; its not visible skin and the scent wafts upwards towards my face, and still projects to my surrounding area. However, typically, heat zones around the body are the best areas to spray for performance. For example, wrists, around the neck, inner thighs, etc.

Personally, I wear it any season and any time of day. However, pragmatically speaking, I would say more of a Spring/Fall/Winter Scent. The summer heat can make this one a bit overbearing. Definitely shines more in the evening.

This is one of the most repulsive fragrances I’ve smelled, the opening is truly unbearabe. Smells like rotten fruit left out in the sun.
