I’m glad we didn’t hear the knock of sadness. She’s a keeper
Well, just wait another day or so and you’ll see some true sadness. It’s coming is what I’m saying 😭😭😭
Glad to hear the lil Italian fella runs and doesn't knock! At least you now know what you got 👍🏻
With all of successes lately I'm becoming fearful of what catastrophe is waiting for you in the darkness. Congrats on this one!
🤣🤣🤣
😁HOOORAY ! Its alive ..we got another runner . Clutch Time . Great video thanks
Thankfully you came to your senses and called Ron. On the other hand an out-of-control tractor would have made an exciting video. 😮
You are crazy, pull starting a tractor by yourself. I’m glad dad was able to come out and help.
Thanks Ron the dad of the Oliver man Ross that is ,thanks buddy thanks BigAl California
Nice! Thats always a good feeling to know it payed off after taking a gamble
Well, I've thought about pulling a tractor to start by myself, but never had the guts. Always did the phone a friend thing. But, you actually tried it!! Never knew I had relatives in Indiana! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ross, remember that 1355 came with two 3EH batteries in series to create the cranking amps needed to start the tractor with that Magnettie Merrelli starter. The replacement starter was a much simpler design and seemed to crank the tractor faster.
Way to hang in there to get to your goal.
👍🏻
that was exciting
Thanks Alan!
Ross 55yrs ago one of mydiesel instructors taught that proper bleeding procedures meant looseng only half of the inj lines it would pressure to build in the pump. when priming a stuborn oil cane holding a finger over the end seems to help might be the same principle.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who sits in their chair at night regretting their life choices. (I’m being a little humorous, but I have actually done that, unfortunately) Yes!! She runs!! 😊
🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations Ross👨🔧🚜👍👍
Hey, it runs, that's awesome!
I've run machines out of fuel in my time , I always had to bleed the system with the manual pump all the way up to the injectors one at a time , as they get fuel , close it down on to the next until all air is vented. Never been able to start with key until system was primed 🤔, that anniversary tractor is fighting you , hope you have better luck with it soon 🤞👍💨💨
Thanks Darren!
Excellent video again more progress thanks for sharing
Thanks Terry!
Enjoy your videos
Thank you!
awesome!
Thanks!
proud to hear it run
Congrats on getting the little guy running. Didn't sound to bad. Loved the video. Perseverance paid off.
Thanks Keith!
Glad it didn't start when you were pulling it by yourself.😃😃
🤣🤣🤣
Would’ve loved to see ya try and pull start it by yourself, just for the colorful commentary that would’ve ensued! It’s been a good while since you’ve had to let the whole barn full of animals come out to play!
Well it sounds good anyway, so far so good get some antifreeze in and let rum awhile and see what’s up from there
Next time You must first run out all air from main fuel pump than start turning motor on to fuel can pass fuel lines to injectors. Thats i do after repairs on fuel sistem. Somtime start spray save my batery and nervs :)
Ross, nice job 👏👏👏👍 you are the man 👍 thanks Michael
Thanks Michael!
You say sadness in the future, but to me those cylinders sound good so is it just the support infrastructure that is the sadness? Are you in too deep to stop now. Restorations always come with the question of “So what is the next thing I have to replace”? Eventually the tractor is all fixed up and ready to pay you back either in work or resale value. Keep going until you show a profit. Change of topic, which cousin is going to harvest the corn and beans or are we going to see white 7300 come out of retirement. I think I already know the answer, probably not this year. PS I hope you get a nice yield. Love your new lunch wagon for the cows.
Thanks! I still haven’t given up may be trying to take the green one out for a lap or two.
We endeavor to persevere . We have fire , look what I have created !👍 Great video Ross . No sadness .
Thanks Mark!
No gasket on my 5050 on those always check the cam lobe for wear it gets a groove and the tractor will start to die out under load and replacing it is a pain
Just letting you know I had a stuck clutch on my tractor and I was told to spray brake clean up in the clutch area so I tried it and it worked great if you want to try that you can
You got a runner 😅
Well, it sounds good, but I skipped ahead to the next chapter, and all I can say is, stay tuned.
Sure glad it started with hopefully no engine issues, always bugs to work out Heck another winter project clutch repair I remember it being rusty on the flywheel when you had the starter off . We been picking soybeans like crazy if I can run late tonight and have a good day tomorrow might get done with them . Uncle is drilling wheat also getting late on that but to rain most of the week. From turkey creek farms be safe n thankful
Thanks Earl!
Yes very nice job unfortunately my tools got wet but drying them put oil on them should be ok my bike tool box electric and DIY one need big wrench thew
I’m sure it will work out!
🇮🇹 Vive un po'!
🇺🇸it lives kinda
Kinda 🤣
Everything little bit of challenge some times like is me with RC two stoke engine s
It’s alive!!! You keep going with these Fiats and you’ll have to start going by Ross the Fiat Man 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations on your success!!’
Thank you!!
Sadness is leaving hopefully
Thanks Stephen!
Why don't you use a good powerful jump box? They work better than jumper cables
I don’t have one. I figure I’ll probably never remember to charge it either.
Lots of progress on the heritage tractor. Maybe you could call him Harry the Heritage tractor 😅. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks
❤️ thanks Larry!!!
That's good stuff that was a pretty exciting video have to say it would have been funny as hell watching you chasing it across the field if it would have fired with nobody on it 😆
Yea, fuel systems kind of just suck, takes bloody forever to get them primed again. Ross, my old Ford 881 had a rusted clutch once, leave clutch pressed and pop the left and right brakes, it should free the clutch unless it's extremely rusted.
I question the amount of fuel going into the pump, if the pump is getting a good amount of fuel, it should be just squirting out, couldn't see that much fuel coming out. But, you did get it to run, that's the main thing.
It doesn’t make sense to me that if the fuel tank is higher than the injector pump it needs a lift pump.
Uva Uvam Vivendo Vari Fit!
Strange I know. I guess it’s probably mainly for when you go up and down hills? Consistent fuel flow
Today is the day yeeehh
🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
@@rosstheoliverman on that note I think Ill make some Spagetti for supper.... along with some Vino... be good
Hey Ross, great video. Is it a shop that rebuilds your pumps, im not far away and looking for a reasonable injection pump guy. Wait time is no big deal.
Uh I hope you didn't lose 3rd😮 my uncle stripped 3rd out on the 1365 they still have. Well thats better then what it was👍
No, it just wouldn’t go in while it was moving
Not perfect, but you didn't give up until you got it to run a little. Making a few loose ends more better ought to have it purring.
Would a block heater help the situation Ross?
Wow, you must have really wanted to see this go. Don't remember you ever calling in help before.
🤣🤣🤣
try pulling it with a 25 ft chain
I've been wondering about the little Italian tractors. I never thought to much about them. Seams to me there kinda like lovering a woman you hate .
They’re really a very well designed little tractor at least the 13 size ones are.
Don’t mess with an Italian woman, I mean don’t get them mad at you unless you like it when you kiss & make up. Two different sets of fire works.
This one is going to take a while!
Are your combines ready for harvest or are you going to have your relatives do it?
I hire it out every year. You don’t make money running old combines.
Stop talking sadness Ross... be positive... there is already too much sadness in the world... there is life there yes she sounds good
True but I already know how this tractor turns out and you’ll see you later this week that it really is sadness 😭😭😭
@@rosstheolivermanoh I hate to hear that....
You know messing with old equipment would be more fun if money were no object. But of course it is just another hurdle to overcome.
@@petepeeff5807 yah.... anything can be fixed with the right amount of cold cash....
😃😃👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🍻🍻
Thanks Paul!
Do you feel like you are on the boot of Italy?
Good deal buddy at least now you have a better idea of what you’re working with, and you can spend money with a little more confidence
Thanks Craig!
Shouldn't the engine be spinning faster
Should be
Sir what im say'n is your intro warning is incorrecto you do not swear you make Barn yard sounds randomly .SEE
🤣🤣🤣
Going to have to tell the rooster to stand back & stand by.
