For instance with Tom Hardy they're really saying "If you want to smell like a tough yet classy guy" and with Jude law it's "If you want to smell like a rich guy on holidays in the Mediterranean" or something like that

He wore the same thing for ~10 yrs and is just now wanting to explore other scents, so I’ve been buying him a new fragrance every year for the past few years. I’ve found a few promising men’s fragrance channels that I’ve subbed to today, but yours is by far my favorite for the content, knowledge, delivery, & humor!!! So I’ll be binge watching your vids for the next few hrs lol 😆
Also, I totally know what that girl in the tik tok was saying about the rose perfumes scaring away guys lol. To me, I also associate heavy rose fragrances with soap & other bath & body products for older women. I picture an older lady’s bathroom filled with rose soap, rose bath bombs, rose air freshener, and rose hand lotion 😂 … and I absolutely hate scents like that; I just can’t disassociate the two. I think it’s a combo of the traditional rose scent and this heavy powdery-ness that’s often used in older, more traditional makeup products & other beauty/body products. These men who are “scared” of rose scents probably grew up with their grandmas & moms using makeup, lotions, and perfumes that smell like that overly powdery rose, and they also probably can’t disassociate the two lol. I think you get less of that feeling when it’s a more modern & toned down formulation of rose like YSL Mon Paris vs Lancôme Idole Intense or Dior Miss Dior range. It also matters what type of rose imo too. Turkish rose is the most offensive & “older lady” to me 🤮

I just got a new bottle yesterday and while I was there I sampled toy boy for the first time and it's gotta be the worst fragrance I've smelt in my opinion
But it's true about the pricing. Cheap fragrances can smell very good, but that doesn't mean that they're good quality. They're still largely made of synthetics.
