    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Are you looking for an unusual plant to bring enjoyment and whimsy to your gardening endeavors? Albuca ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ or Corkscrew Albuca has thick, tightly curled leaves on short stems that arise from an underground bulb. Fragrant yellow flowers appear in spring on flower spikes that are adorned with 10-20 blooms per spike. The blossoms have a light vanilla fragrance.
    Albuca ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ is a spring bloomer. When it sends up flower stalks, it often causes the tips of the leaves to brown. This is a natural occurrence. If you don’t want this to happen, simply remove the flower stalks as soon as they start to grow to prevent leaf tip browning.
    Grow in full sun and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. There are no pest or disease problems with ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ so it makes an ideal home garden plant that’s distinctive and eye-catching.
    I love these specific care videos. I originally heard of Logees and Byron from Summer Rayne Oaks and I have to say Byron you've become one of my favorite youtubers!! Lol. Great speaker and I always learn a lot. Love it!!
    I purchased Curly last Summer and as the summer wore on and we started getting more rain into the fall My Curly didn't look so good, and I did a little bit of reading and it said that they will go dormant. I quit watering per instructions and here about a week or two ago I was giving all of my succulents late winter drink. I hadn't watered most of them since Thanksgiving as I was beginning to lose a lot of plants to root rot. My first year with succulents and I hope the learning curve bends in my favor... Mostly stable now. Happy to see my Frizzle Sizzle having come back to life as lo and behold, Curly has sprung a new top from a basically pot full of dirt. The days are getting longer and spring is just around the corner.
    Thank you so much for the detailed information. I purchased one that was beautiful and it was in bloom, but after it died out it did not grow back curly. Now I know they need more sunlight. Thank you
    Do the flowers produce seeds that can be grown into plants? Mine just flowered and the old blooms have long hard things in them that I'm thinking are seeds, just wondering if I should try planting them.
    This is a hard plant to grow :/... I have one and it lost its "frizzle" in a couple weeks. I keep it outside (live in zone 10a) and it still just flops over and looks like long grass.
