Sure, one of them had a mask, but at least Jet Shatter had no mask and still retained the car mode details, which is why they complemented each other. You could get masked head and unmasked head, and both figures don't look way apart. The two Dropkicks were just totally different and there's no detail that carried through at least one of them. Both helicopter mode and car mode are way apart, body wise, and no carryover details.

I mean, if you want a triple-changer brick Transformers, that's fine. But the collectors always have a high standard. They're not kids, after all. We have a Masterpiece Transformers for a reason, and that is to keep up the demand from the older fans. If we look at the tendencies of Takara's Masterpiece releases, it's pretty hard to rely on them releasing all of the Transformers robots in Masterpiece line, while a lot of third parties had kept giving us a lot of Masterpiece-style Transformers figures. They are waaaay, way faster at giving us their own take on those Transformers robots compared to Takara. Also, Takara had a lot more products to be taken care of, so they can't really focused on developing Masterpiece Transformers. Sure, the had their own team to take care of it, but it's not gonna be as wild as those third-parties.

If people really want to have screen accurate Dropkick after the helicopter scan, they can just rip apart Car Dropkick's arms (along with the wheels) and glue them into the Heli Dropkick torso. Maybe also fill the side of the torso with the car tits, glue the car wings onto his back, and replace the legs as well. It wouldn't be transformable, though :-/ In summary, *Kitbash.*
They shouldn't adopted triple changers into the exoskeleton model from the first place. Make it hollow so people can get inside a vehicle mode is already stupid enough.
