First remove the tyre and tube then pull the existing old rim tape off the wheel. Now thoroughly clean your rim inside and out with Peaty’s Disc Brake Cleaner for dirt and greases or Peaty’s XXX Solvent Degreaser for any glue residue.
Once all dirt and grease has been removed make sure you give the wheel a good wash with clean water again to remove any residual disc cleaner or degreaser as this will weaken the glue on the rim tape.
Now, with a completely dry rim, take your Peaty’s Tubeless Rim Tape and start applying it from two spoke holes beyond the valve hole to create an overlap when it’s finished.
Stretch the tape slightly so there are no wrinkles and use your thumb to smooth the tape into any ridges or creases on the rim so there are no air bubbles.
Continue carefully all round the rim until the tape is two spoke holes past the valve hole to create that overlap.
Cut the end at a slight angle, smooth out any air bubbles and then use the separate piece of sealing tape to make sure the end doesn’t peel up.
Do a final check for air bubbles, pushing any trapped pockets to the nearest spoke hole to get them out.

    I'm running 2.4" tubes.
No info on thickness. Ordered 30mm. Would that be fine

No need for tape with tubes. This is for a Tubeless setup. The size depends on the internal width of your rim, you can find this information out from the rim manufactures website

@@Peatys there is no info online but I measured with a calliper and it said around 32mm from the edge. I meant before I hadn't measured the thickness as I meant would the 30mm be fine for 2.4, but I now assume it would be fine. I ordered the 30mm enduro/dh and maxxis assegai 29x2.5 and dissector 29x2.4. Sorry about confusion. No info for manufacturers. It is p35l. All it says on 99bikes
