@@CandyCadet777 Looks like turning elephant makes the level easier. Bigger hitbox allows you to be less precise when grabbing those tiny fucking blocks
Agreed- more than any other level in any Mario game lol. Took me 40 attempts and than I missed the flag pole top 😢
It took me almost 70 attempts it sucked so much
Love how the beginning of the Shining falls special starts like 1-1 in the original Super Mario Bros and the next part is like the ending of 1-2 from the original Super Mario Bros

i got through most of these due to online co op. some guy named david was with me on the goomba level. we would take turns trying to jump and wait to rescue the other. we made it through the whole level together
1-1 remakes never get old. It’s a gift to the world that keeps on giving. ✨

that bubble segment on special way of the goomba is killing me man
I only beat it after I learned thatint the first section, you should wait for the bird on the left to blow bubbles before jumping off, and then wait for the bird on the right to blow bubbles in the second section. I hope that's helpful.

Haven’t gotten to the final-final marathon test but just looking at it I feel like I already failed😅brave souls for those attempting. I have five courses left in the special world before the final final marathon

Finally finished the Final-Final Test. Took me around 50 tries. And it was the very first stage where I didn't get the golden flag. 🙃

To hell with climb to the beat. I just won’t be finishing the game. The final prize sucks so bad it’s not even worth it to finish the game. All the special badges suck actually.
I’ve finished the game but went back to the levels that I didn’t get all the coins, special fruit, or secret places to get to the special world. Some of the special world I beat. A couple took like 40 lives to get down, but watching the levels that I haven’t opened yet makes me not want to even continue. 😅🙃

Honestly, tho the levels were really hard, I managed to beat most in one or two sittings, they were just way too fun to give up… with the exception of Way to the Goomba… the most I’ve cursed in this game lol

I find it hard to believe that it's possible to complete Badge Marathon with any character other than Yoshi or Nabbit while also playing offline.
I did it that way 🤷♂️ didn’t use online the entire game
Maybe if they didn't give checkpoints. But with the checkpoints it's just a matter of patience. With the only *really* rough spots being the invisible, spring jump, and grappling vine segments respectively.
I beat the game it's hard but not impossible.
@@DarkIceKrabbycheckpoints only get you so far, I burnt 30 lives just to get to the second checkpoint and I'm already down my last 30 lives. If I don't make it, I'm toast even with yoshi
Oh, my goodness! I hate the special world, these difficult courses! I die so many times! I have managed to clear two of these courses so far! Ugh! Wish me a best luck!

I died 19 times on the goomba level because of the last bubble jump before the seed. I am not proud of this fact.

2nd stage of Special World is always a funny difficulty spike compared to the first.
That's what they all say until they get to the last level.
I hated the NON-Special version of this shit. Dreading the Special one.

I have Beaten The Level Fluff puff peaks special climb to the beat Which most people think it’s the hardest level in the game but the hardest level in the game is The final-final test badge marathon.

Final-Final test is crying me 😢
3:34 - i beat this level but i always miss the first because i was literally 3 seconds away and would miss it. I will get the other one someday….
8:50 My biggest frustration about that level is not even the amount of lives i lost, it's when i finally got to the wonder seed after so many fails, i fell right past the seed and still died because my dumb ass wasn't paying enough attention. 🤦♂
But after so many more attempts i still managed to get that seed, though.
To be honest this was pretty easy once you see the levels design after 10 or lower failed attempts
Here’s my list of easiest to hardest to beat
1: bounce bounce, bounce
As the level goes all you need to is bounce jump by the edge of the hippos and your good just don’t rush the level just bounce with precision jumps it’s
2: pole block allure
It’s a straightforward level just keep moving and stomp carefully just don’t be too slow be alert.
3: dangerous donut ride
In this level the beginning it’s not so bad once you made it past those obstacles and reach the wonder flower that’s when it cracks up the difficulty I died around 3 or 6 times just memorize the level from failed attempts and that’s it there are also purple coins hinting of where to go.
4: way of the goomba
This is more of a wait and progress level you can’t jump very high so it’s more of a handicap time is a little tight with the spiked ball section don’t be impatient when dealing with bubbles or those chomping enemies this will result in a failed attempt
5:solar roller
another auto scrolling level just move right and left it did take me a little while to get use to the level it’s not that bad hit the time block often before progressing the last part of this level is pretty challenging it also demands the player to have fast reaction time near the end
6: triple threat deluge
Like the way of the goomba
Wait and progress but there fire bars, spiked boulders, bounce pads and destroyable blocks I recommend a power in hand you will get hit it’s possible to do it hitless which adds another layer of difficulty you also need the spiked boulders to open a path forward and watch out for instant death areas
7: piranha plant reprise
This level at first starts easy until you get the wonder flower another auto scroller but this time you have to dodge everything from piranha plants, bamboo enemies, bullet bills and spikes don’t be too slow by the speed section
8: climb to the beat
This level is pretty difficult even if you gain the hang of it you will still struggle regardless it demands the player to have great timing and character control speed do not use any badges that increase jump height, speed or have an ability that can use the grapple, spin jump, crouch high jump, floaty jump and lastly the parachute badge just don’t use any focus on your jumps and timing that’s it.
9: badge marathon
This level requires you to master every single badge given to you in the level each having its own challenge the most difficult parts of this level is the spring feet, invisible badge, crouch high jump and the vine grapple badge and remember timing is key and don’t panic. focus
And lastly number 10 the wonder gauntlet the level speaks for itself requirement to complete this level as follows patients, precision and quick reaction time
As the level suggests it has almost every single wonder effect and remember how each of them work, carry a power up or a have someone to help with this level and in the last part your on your own do not ever slow down in the part of the level be cautious when jumping to each platform
This is just my opinion
27:48 i keep dying on that part because i dont know if you gotta hold jump when you land on them or just bounce off them or short jump off them. alls i need to do is solve that and i guess i beat it.
Somehow i just got lucky and got all 3 flower coins and got to the golden flagpole on my first try in final final test

Way of the Goomba 4 stars its a difficult level Yoshi getting no benefits
Solar Roller 4 Stars Fast paced be careful 1 mistake your done
Pole Block Allure 3 stars Yoshi takes no damage just gotta be fast and avoid being pushed off
Dangerous Donut Ride 2 stars fireballs do absolutely nothing same with the other enemies.
Piranha Plant Reprise 3 Stars Yoshi can damage boost through the big ones so its not difficult.

I thought I would get an invincibility badge.
I used yoshi(play alone) and i tried over 200 times and i hate the invincible badge challenge( the last trial) cause this challenge makes the character is invincible
The final test is easily one of my least favorite levels in this game I've died so many times in the level I don't feel like playing another Mario game again

This special world is the downside of SM Wonder. Extremly hard levels, specially the rythm jumping and the last one. A lot of people, like me, play Mario for the exploration, secrets and discovery. For this extreme display of skill, there is the aberration known as Super Mario Maker.
