    When I went to Japan I couldn't believe how clean and organised their building sites were. Even the concrete trucks were spotless. As far as I am concerned anything made in Japan is of the highest quality.

      Yeah of all the manufacturing videos I watch, this one stands out because of the care they put into fixing and perfecting cosmetic details. It means they have a brand to uphold, inside and out.

      that was not always true. In the 50s and 60s, Japan made what we now look to china to get. Mostly low quality stuff

      There's really no where in the world that will put this kind of detail into machine parts this size . Japan has really taken pride in work to all new details . :)

    "Made in Japan" is usually a quality seal itself. They're cooking the imperfections out with an electrode and then they weld the holes. It's so satisfying to see it all come together with precision. Even the XXL crown nuts can be spun by hand.
    It's almost too nice for the intended purpose. :)

    Ich finde es immer wieder atemberaubend mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail hier gearbeitet wird. Soviel Herzblut und Gründlichkeit. Leidenschaft zum Produkt, einfach nur toll. Alleine die Montage gleicht einer präzisen Operation. Wenn man alleine nur die Lackiererei sieht,wird einem warm ums Herz. Und zum guten Schluss sieht man den guten Mann wie er noch mit einem Schwamm per Hand die gegossene Beschriftung betupft.

    19:16 As a machinist i love that kind of fit righ there, not loose not tight, just a few bumps to make fit it in.
    Also a little hard to get that fit depending on the length of the part. If i ever need a product from Okada i will happily pay for it.

      I know a smaller hydraulic rock hammer attachment for a 29T excavator costs about $50k AUD ($25-30k USD), so I'm going to guess this would be hitting double that, minimum.
